What is the circumference of the base of the Salt & Pepper Mills? (I want to know what size mill rest to buy). Thankyou.

The diameter of the pepper mill is 6cm. We use a Lakeland wooden mill rest in which it fits nicely and looks like the acacia item linked to this product on Amazon.

does this salt mil have the same black dots like the pepper mill? according to the picture the dots seem to be stainless steel color not like the set

The dots are the same black on both the salt and pepper mill (altho only 3 on the salt mill, obviously).

Pepper mill has broken less than 6 weeks old... how do I get a replacement under your life time guarantee??

I am really surprised to learn that a Cole & Mason pepper mill has broken. I am sure that if you contact Cole & Mason direct, with evidence of the date of your purchase, they will replace it immediately. My Cole & Mason pepper and salt mills have performed brilliantly for a number of years, with no problem. I have a set in two residences, and friends who recommended them have had theirs for ages too. Don't give up on them! I'm sure your experience is just one in a million so to speak
