Is there any issue storing multiple batteries in one large bag. I have four bags to store 60 volt and 40 volt batteries that run the snowblower etc?

From a safety perspective, there should be no issue - the total potential energy in multiple smaller batteries is no more than a single large battery. The only downside can be that if you have one battery fail and "go up in flames", it can take the others with it. But that slight risk is probably not worth purchasing separate bags.
