This is a very good desk. Its a great price for what you get. Once built, its strong and nice looking, there is no wobble. The keyboard tray feels very sturdy and runs smoothly but not to easily which can be a problem if it moves when typing on other desks I have had.I can kit my keyboard and mouse on this tray, but if my keyboard was bigger might be an issue, and I think others have struggled, not that it would be a problem to have the keyboard on the desk. I have to laugh when i read others could not assemble etc - I built and filled with my PC etc inside of 3 hours. The instructions are clear, and the pieces are very well labled, so no guessing if you have the correct piece. I built on my own without an issue, but I guess some might prefer to have two when it comes to getting the top surface in place. The kit comes with a handy screwdriver, which is a novelty, but dont think you are going to do the whole desk with it, it's small, and it would make the job painful, I used a nice little wratchet screwdriver, I dont think I would have used an electric one, because I find with diy you dont want screws going in to fast. The free screwdrive did come in hand for a few scres that are under the desk, which you do last, because my screwdriver was to big to get into the tight space, so it was great to have the little one just for that. Some of the screws are long, but thats what makes it so strong. Anyone who can manage flatpack from other like Argos or Ikea can manage this with ease. Looks great, fits all my stuff in (which is an achievement) and fits my room nicely. Its never going to compete with an expencive solid wood desk, but taking into account its price its fantastic, and wont be rivelled in the flat pack market.

There are many positive reviews of this desk and that is one of the reasons I ordered it, all those positive reviews can't be wrong. Well let me tell you they weren't. I ordered the desk on a Sunday evening, it was despatched on Monday morning and City Link delivered on Wednesday morning. City Link had only delivered 1 of the 2 cartons as the other was missing, I emailed Piranha on Wednesday evening when I got home and they immediately chased City Link Thursday morning, emailing me twice to apologise and assure that they had resolved it with City Link, sure enough later on Thursday City Link delivered the missing carton (City Links error not Piranha). On opening the packaging you will be pleased to see loads of protective packing to ensure no damage in transit to the parts. All the parts are very clearly marked and referenced to the build manual which makes assembly really easy, even for one person. It does take time to assemble but that is a good thing as it is due to the quality of the construction, this is not a cheap throw it together desk. Piranha even include a spares pack and screwdriver in the parts so you don't need anything other than the pack to build it, although I would recommend an electric screwdriver to make the build easier, especially if solo. The desk looks really great when assembled and is very solid. I was looking at a £250 desk from a different supplier that did not look as good quality as this desk. I cannot recommend this desk highly enough and if i could give more than 5 stars i would. Buy with confidence

Great desk. Lovely chocolate colour. Solid build, easy to assemble. Clearly labelled parts and even a bag of spares. Took just a few hours to construct, there are a lot of parts to assemble. Quickly delivered, ordered Wednesday 3rd - arrived Friday 5th as communicated on Thursday 4th via email. Came in two packages. Screwdriver provided but is almost completely useless. I'd advise you to use your own. I noticed some scuffs, marks and slight discolourings on the parts but mostly on inside or inside edge and most could be rubbed/cleaned up. Desk is of good quality, even I was able to assemble a solid, non wobbly structure with little experience. I've built other flat pack furniture before but never a desk. Drawers and keyboard drawer run smooth. All of the screw holes in each piece are ready marked to the highest accuracy. It's of a decent size - I have a 23" monitor on top and there is space taken up by a utility shelf (which I suppose is optional) yet I still have room to work 'old-school' with a notepad and textbook on the working surface. Overall I am very pleased with the quality, build and appearance, so much so that today I ordered the side cabinet to sit beside it. Dropped a star for the slight blemishes I mentioned, and the pathetic excuse for a screwdriver. Though I do acknowledge that not all flat pack vendors supply one. Or spares. Excellent value for price. Looks like it'll last years. Recommended.

tutto ok. Istruzioni di montaggio chiarissime. Prodotto conforme alle aspettative. Imballo perfetto e corriere supergentile. Bisogna avere un po' di manualità ma non ci sono stati danni alle parti durante il montaggio semplice e intuitivo.

La mesa esta genial, es muy bonita. La calidad de los materiales es escelente, bien acabada y el embalaje que trae protege muy bien la mesa, que ha llegado sin ningùn desperfecto. El material con el que está hecha la mesa NO es aglomerado es otro tipo de madera o similar mucho más dura. Los tirafondos que se utilizan para montar la mesa te cuesta apretarlos, ya que la madera es muy dura, y queda todo super robusto. Yo miré otras mesas y eran algo más baratas y me decidí por esta y no me arrepiento en absoluto. Os la recomiendo 100%.

Para una persona con tan poca habilidad para bricolage como yo, ha sido toda una sorpresa encontrar un mueble con tantísimos tornillos, pasadores y piezas que vengan tan bien detallados y bien señalizados todos los pasos a seguir. El mueble tiene calidad, sus piezas encajan a la perfección, amplios cajones (no como otros), útil soporte para impresora, hueco para ordenador de torre como el mío, salida organizada de cableados en sus paneles traseros. Estoy muy satisfecho de esta compra. Por ponerle una pequeña pega, diría que el color (en mi caso, haya) es más claro que en las imágenes de la página web, pero tampoco supone un inconveniente. Lo recomiendo sin dudar.
