Works great!
Took the ant traps to Tahiti and they were a big hit. They got rid of the nests. They stopped going through the kitchen. They stopped going through the bathroom all because we set traps out for them. This product works great. Next time I go back to Tahiti I am taking more with me.

Does exactly what it says it will do: gets rid of ants
We started seeing those tiny black ants in our kitchen, here and there. They would be in random places on the floor, on our counter tops, and on top of the dishwasher door. But in not in the cupboards or anywhere else. Sprayed peppermint oil/water and they would disappear for a day and be right back. Same thing with vinegar/water. These smells repel them, but they don't kill them. There was never a trail, so we couldn't figure out where they were coming from. Finally broke down and looked for an ant trap and decided on these. It says to put ONE out, but I missed that part and set them all out. Left the kitchen and came back later, and there was a trail of ants coming from under our dishwasher over to one of the bait traps. It says to leave them alone and they will take the bait back to their home and it will kill them all. It was hard to leave a trail of ants on the kitchen floor, but we did and the very next day, there were NO ants anywhere, and there haven't been any since. That was several weeks ago. Since the traps last for 6 months out of the package, I left one underneath a counter and one under the fridge, just in case. I wish we had done this sooner instead of spraying smelly liquids all over the place. This was easy, cheap, and it worked. I recommend these. You just have to be patient and let the ants come to the trap, leave them alone, and let them take the bait home. No more ants. It worked for us.

Not effective!!
UPDATE: Not sure if this is what did it, but as of about June 16, no more ants. I placed these wherever I found ants and a week later I’m experiencing a bad ant issue. I had read in the reviews to put a little bit of sugar on it and I honestly thought it’d work, but they literally gathered around, ate all the sugar and called it a day. Placed them also whiteout sugar and they did nothing. The ants were not attracted to it, they did not die. I haven’t found any dead ones. They’re definitely easy to use, easy to snap and place anywhere, but I don’t think they’re as effective as the other reviews mention.

It was meh, works but not well
I tried this bait around my house. It technically worked, and I saw a few ants go in and out, but most of the ants didn't seem very interested. The dry bait that doesn't leak, clean and easy to use. Would be amazing if the ants actually wanted to eat the bait. For whatever reason, it just wasn't a great match for the ants I'm dealing with. Another brand has worked better for me so far. Shipping and packaging were fine.

Completely useless and a waste of money
The ants show absolutely no interest in this bait, even though I’ve had it set out for four days and have placed three separate traps about 5 feet apart and directly within their trails (indoors and on the tops of some kitchen cabinets). They just walk over or around the traps and I’ve seen no decrease in the number of ants. I suspect, but don’t know for sure, that the problem is the traps are just too old as they’ve probably been sitting in storage at the warehouse for several years. The outer box was sealed, and the traps were in sealed cellophane packages, but I suspect that even when unopened that they expire within a year or two. Interestingly, there is no expiration date printed on the box. However, the copyright date is 2001 which was five years ago. The copyright doesn’t indicate when they were manufactured, but I suspect that it is something of a clue. As of September 2026, a complete waste of time, effort, and money.
