XtremeAuto® Universal Black Large 40cm Car Whip Aerial Antenna FM/AM Radio Reception Includes Adapters

Fitted to my 2009 Ford focus. My radio reception is vastly improved. Before on auto detect stations, I could only get 2 or 3 stations now I get all 24 stations populated. Direct screw off screw on replacement. Does not fit flush, so you keep screwing the ariel down further than where you think it will stop. Eventually it goes tight and stops, slightly crushing the base of the ariel, see picture. It looks good and is slightly shorter than the original ariel. Worth the money.

Using one of the adapters provided, it took a couple of minutes to replace my old aerial on my Chevrolet Aveo, fitting perfectly. The radio signal is better now than it has been for ages, especially when changing between stations. The aerial feels good quality & looks good too. Would happily recommend.

I Bought this for my 2017 plate Vauxhall Mokka, to replace the snapped one. This comes with two adaptors, the 5mm one is to small, and you in turn put it up and down in the mounting hole. the 6mm at first bites, but you will have to get pair of pliers and screw up down, and in turn cutting a new thread, as I have already put the opposite end the adaptor as far as it will go into the aerial itself already.. but apart from that, its working fine and getting all the channels again on the FM Band that you can't of have difficulty receiving on its DAB Frequincy. Plus this inturn now able to receive both DAB and FM, again,, allows you to go to the SETTINGS then RADIO, And to the DAB-FM setting and switch it on, so that the stations that are on both FM and DAB,will now follow you while driving, (PLUS IF YOU TURN DAB-DAB ON, THIS WILL ALSO ALLOW DAB STATIONS FROM ANOTHER REGIONS TRANSMITTER TO FOLLOW ON ON DAB TOO) I am ordering another one, as lost the spare I used to have handy,, which was why had to order in the first place. (ADDITION AFTER BUYING SECOND) I have learnt from the first one, after trying it on the car and having to screw it with pliers to cut a new tread in the mounting point hole, and it still sticking up, to cut the thread adaptorlength by about a milmeter which has now allowed the second one to not only screw in , but also screw up against the roof mount, in turn sealing the gap between. and now looks like it should be there, and has done what I wanted it to do, and inprove the receiption, as getting almost double the number channels, on FM, and DAB is not losing the channels that often either, and infact has started working as it should, and when out range one mast, switching to another itself (FOLLOW ME MODE)

My old aerial got ripped off in an auto car wash. It was pretty rusty. I found it very easy to removed the old threaded coupler and one of the 2 different sized new couplers fitted perfectly. The new aerial screwed on easily and looks great. The reception seems a little better with this aerial. It is a little longer than the old one so maybe that is a factor. Anyway very happy with this and happy with the price too.

I've been so used to the sound of my Ford Focus Mk1's Keycode radio I thought it was normal. However, the rubber base of the rooftop aerial has been perishing for a long time so I eventually decided to replace it with this - and what a difference! The sound quality of the radio is noticeably better. It's louder, no longer tinny, there's deeper bass and no static. I never realised how poor the old aerial was or what a difference fitting a new one would have. Now it's good for another 25 years!

Die Antenne sollte bei unserem Nissan Quasqui (J11) die gestohlene Originalantenne ( Kosten um die 80 €) ersetzen. Nach der gewohnt schnellen Lieferung wurde die Antenne sofort montiert. Den Adapter in die Halterung geschraubt, dann die Antenne angeschraubt und fertig. Der Empfang, insbesondere auch über DAB+, ist bisher genauso gut wie mit der Originalantenne.

Für den Ford C-Max passt die Antenne nicht richtig. Das Gewinde hat zwar die richtigen Maße, allerdings muss man einen Teil des Gummis unten an der Antenne wegschneiden, damit das Gewinde überhaupt an das männliche Gegenstück rankommt. Daher nur drei Sterne. Der Empfang ist in Ordnung.

Compre esta antena porqué la mía estaba medio rota y no cogía casi nada. Es una antena estándar como la que llevan la mayoría de coches, tiene adaptadores para los distintos modelos. El precio es muy correcto y la instalación sin ningún secreto. Después de un par de meses de uso, se mantiene bien y parece que el material es de buena calidad
