Bestway Double Flocked Airbed for Camping

Omg it's so comfy! I've been using it for about a week as I'm trying to train my doggy to sleep in his own bedroom. I've been sleeping so well in it 😭😂! Both my dogs (50+60kg) have lay on it, walked on it and jumped on it and it's holding air well! I like a really firm bed so I have been using an electric pump every night but only for a second or 2 to give it a big more firmness, otherwise it stays firm through the night. It's definitely easy enough to set up, and once up it's a good quality air bed (I think, it's my first experience using one). I've been using a thick teddy bear fitted sheet, and under that I use a memory foam mattress topper, giving it quite a bit more comfort. Using a duvet and normal bed pillows has meant it feels comfier than my king sized bed. I think I'll struggle to say goodbye to it when my boy is trained 😂🤣. Definitely a great buy! Can't wait for my first guest to try it out and see how comfortable it is.

I bought this air bed back in September 2021 and it has only just reached the end of its life, so I feel I've had excellent value from it. It was comfortable for what it is, easy to inflate, and worked well whenever I needed an extra bed. Over the years it held up well and did exactly what I expected. It finally developed a fault this week, but after almost five years of use I can't really complain. I'd consider that a good lifespan for an inflatable air bed, and I'd happily buy another one.

I bought this to go camping. I inflated ready to be used on the first night, after about 4 hours it had deflated. I inspected for obvious leaks, but none could be found. I was away for 2 nights with a defective air bed. I am returning the product.

Bought as temporary beds when we moved and was really impressed. Got a double each for comfort and they were really super soft and stayed inflated. Had no problems with the product and would definitely recommend Just buy a pump to go with it

Initially, once inflated, it held its shape well and was solid enough to support most weights. For a double, it's a good size, material won't tear easily. Points to be aware of: You'll need a pump of some description, so factor that into the price if you haven't already got one. Like most inflatables it will need "topping" up once slept on. But nothing more than topping up. The waffle shape is common to most inflatable mattresses but this one feels like the waffle holes are a little bit large and a little bit too deep. You might want to lay a blanket under your body to disguise some of the dip. At the end of the day, though, it's an inflatable mattress so it'll see you for a couple of nights but doesn't replace a proper mattress for long term visitors. UPDATE: It probably lasted for about 4-5 nights in total, used at different intervals, before it simply deflated overnight and became useless. So, if the intended use is for a few nights = fine. If it's intended as a regular "stand by" extra bed for visitors... get something better.

An absolute game changer for camping! It's not exactly light weight so that rules it out for carrying over long distance hikes but if you are camping right beside your car then this mattress makes all the difference. I'm definitely a "side sleeper" and when camping on thinner mats I regularly wake up during the night with a massive pain in my hips. Having a mattress like this honestly makes all the difference when it comes to getting a good night sleep in a tent. I found it easy to inflate with a pump although I have taken it camping without the pump and it took around 10-15 exhausting minutes to inflate by just blowing into it. This is obviously not recommended unless you have the lung capacity of an Olympic free diver but it can still be done this way if you were desperate. The last time I used it I was in a friends campervan awning which was annoyingly pitched on gravel. Granted, I had a ground sheet underneath the mattress but it was still resting on a rough surface. Despite this, the mattress is thick enough to be durable in these situations which is why it weighs as much as it does. It's durability means that I have never had any issues with it slowly deflating throughout the night due to air leakage either. It only just fits inside a two man tent although it does press up against the sides deforming the overall shape of the tent ever so slightly and reducing the amount of room you have. Still, I would definitely rather have it than not where possible. The Amazon review topics suggest I tell you all about the built in pump... It doesn't have one (see paragraph 2).
