I probably should have read the details before I purchased. For the price I assumed it was a glass front, but it's a cheap piece of acrylic. The white boarder is a thin piece of cardboard that was buckled in one section. I also think the cardboard piece that the medals go on should be thicker. It's a bit flimsy for 16 medals, some of which are quite heavy. Only other disappointing thing is that if your medal has anything other than a ribbon, you probably won't be able to display it. I have one that has a seashell necklace but there's no way to fit it through the slot. Nobody's fault, just be aware.

Damaged right out of the box. Unable to return and now thank goodness, I have time before gifting it...have to order glass to fix the issue. What a hassle!
