Hard to find 17cm round speakers with separate tweeters (I did not bother installing the tweeters as the ones in my car were working fine). These are much better than I expected after reading the only (negative) review here when I bought them. The reviews on amazon.com were fairer. They fitted in my MX5 euphonic doors without adjustment. Very clear puncy sound, easily loud enough with the roof down. Partnered with Alpine UTE-72BT for iphone bluetooth compatibility.

So much clearer than the standards in my Beetle mk2. The tweeters were a revelation, the vocal sound stage is an awful lot clearer now over standard. Will be ordering another pair for the rear, as they sound very muddy by comparison. very pleased with this purchase.

Sound good enough for the camper but need to turn the bass up to get best performance

Good quality speaker sound , bought as a replacement for original car speakers , even though they had a lot of holes I still had to drill new holes in the car door as the speakers were slightly smaller than mine .

Low end alpine speakers My advice is spend a little more for better sound quality

Good quality speakers at a good price. Easy to fit due to the many holes around the edges. The different mounting brackets for the tweeters gives good flexibility on fitting them.

Excellent speakers! Easy to fit, works fine. Sound is awesome! Would easy recommend them to everybody. I use them in my Rover25 and didn't have a problems with fitting'em in :)

For the money these are great little speakers, combine them with a subwoofer and they sound pretty good. Easy to wire in yourself and easy to mount depending on the car. If you amped them I'm sure they'd sound a lot better.

Le ho acquistate per sostituire quelli di serie della mia Peugeot 207 e entrano perfettamente negli alloggi. Ho dovuto penare non poco per sostituirle perché la Peugeot ha gli attacchi proprietari per gli altoparlanti e quindi chi si aspetta un lavoro facile di sostituzione fra le originali e queste si troverà un po spiazzato. I cavi che arrivano non sono colorati in maniera comprensibile e quindi consiglio prima di tagliare eventualmente i cavi di segnare quale entra nello spinotto chiamato 1 e quale nel 2. Io ho considerato il numero 1 positivo e il 2 negativo e quindi collegato il cavo 1 all'ingresso grosso della cassa Alpine, il negativo a quello più piccolo. Spero di essere stato utile a qualcuno prima che possa penare quanto me a cercare online una soluzione. Le casse sono ottime e con un suono abbastanza pulito, ovviamente soffrono dei limiti dello stereo di serie e quindi non possono fare miracoli, con lo stereo di serie inutile comprare casse più potenti perché suonerebbero come queste. In conclusione: consigliatissime per sostituire gli altoparlanti di serie Per quelle posteriori consiglio Alpine SXE-1725S

Speakers are great, but they didn't fit my 2012 Jeep Wrangler as described

Wurden im Austausch zu altersbedingt defekten Frontlautsprechern in einem Peugeot 206 eingebaut. Die Qualität ist absolut ok, in Anbetracht des geringen Preises von unter 40€ sogar wirklich sehr, sehr ordentlich. Sicherlich sind die Höhen ein wenig harsch, aber die Kritik, dass "untenrum" zu wenig komme, kann ich nicht so richtig nachvollziehen, obwohl ich die 16er direkt mit der Tür verschraubt habe und kein Adapterring, der dem Kunstoffkorb und damit dem Klang womöglich ein wenig mehr Stabilität hätte verleihen können, zum Einsatz kam. Ich vermute, dass die Enttäuschung einiger Rezensenten sich aus der Erwartung, die man vielleicht mit dem Namen Alpine verbindet, ableitet. Wer aber ein deutliches! Upgrade zu seinen Serienlautsprechern haben will, der ist hier möglicherweise nicht richtig und muss wahrscheinlich, je nach Hersteller, mindestens das Dreifache anlegen - dann gibt es auch solide Metallkörbe, schöne Frequenzweichen usw.. Dieses Set ist in einer anderen Region unterwegs und deckt Ansprüche ab, die aber auch ihre Berechtigung haben. Übrigens, gerade für den Einbau in Kleinwagen interessant: die geringe Einbautiefe und der vergleichsweise gute Wirkungsgrad, der auch den problemlosen Betrieb an handelsüblichen Radios ermöglicht.
