I got this from my son's birthday just to see if he is good at taking care of jewelry before I buy him anything else and honestly this is a great quality necklace it has not tarnished or broken and it's been about 6 months he really loves it and he wears it every day he has showered with it a few times and nothing has happened to it but most of the time he takes it off before he gets in the shower like most jewelry of course
