Quality Product
Arrived quickly and was well packaged. Assembly is relatively straight forward. Immediately used it to clean Velux windows and solar panels and it did the job. It’s a quality design with good fittings and solid construction and I’m happy with the purchase. In terms of improvement, just a simple male hose connection would work better so you can then plug it in directly with the garden hose instead of having to insert a hose and screw it to the fitting supplied and then undo it at the end. Secondly the bit on the pole where you feed in the water line has a very rough edge that scratches the tube - not a big deal, you just need to feed it through slow and I’ll put some tape around the area so the tube is protected. That said, I like it, it’s made well and does the job. I need to check if it comes with a fitting to introduce a window cleaning agent to the water supply. The other thing I like about it is the extension clamps are made of hard plastic so won’t scratch up the solar panels. All the same next time I’ll take 5 mins and wrap the clamps in bubble wrap or something to make sure. 24 foot model just reached the solar panels on the second floor roof when standing on a ladder. They say in the instructions that you can wrap a chamois around the brush to wipe windows - maybe - I’ll give it a go. I gave it 5 stars as it’s well made.

Good quality
This item is sturdy, effective, but heavy at height.

Heavy at full 24ft length
The instructions are sketchy but the seller was responsive with clarifying what some parts were for. The brush is understandably heavy at full length but works well. Keeping it no longer than actually needed for each window minimises the handling problem. Be careful feeding the tube through the small hole when setting up - the aluminium is sharp and shaves the tube. A bit of plastic from the packaging was employed to act as a grommet and this worked well.

Keep your solar panels clean !
A leaflet came in our letterbox from a company cleaning solar panels. This made us look more closely at ours. We noticed quite a lot of dirt on our panels, which we had about 2 years. So, we bought this brush. Before using it we looked at the output of the panels. We looked again after cleaning. The difference was about 8% more output. Quite a bit ! The only thing that wasn't totally satisfactory is not being able to clean the very top of the panels - it's about 3 feet out of reach, so in the end we used a ladder. However, the dirt was mainly at the bottom of the panels so overall it was a job well done.

Problem with item coming unscrewed
It works really well cleaning upstairs window and my solar panels. However, the supplied water fitting is not compatible with standard hozelock fittings and keeps falling out. Also, a couple of the fittings kept coming unscrewed so I have drilled and fitted small screws to prevent this continuing. After this remedial action it is working well.

Easy to use
Bought the 24ft version to reach 3rd storey windows. So much lighter than using the poles where the water fills the whole tube, obviously. Also, it should last longer then those, having no seals to wear out. Seems to be built well. One point to bear in mind is that this will require looking after, both when in use and in storage. The water fed plastic tube that travels up through the aluminium tubing is relatively fragile and could easily be damaged. Having said that, it wouldn’t be difficult to replace at the local DIY store. Doing the upstairs windows in one go will still leave you with tired arms, but taking everything into consideration, it makes life easier than employing window cleaners and should pay for itself in a relatively short time.

It does exactly what I wanted
I bought this in order to clean my solar panels which were getting very dirty and losing efficiency. This long brush allowed me to clean all the panels from the ground, no ladders needed. As my window cleaner was quoting £100 for the job it has nearly paid for itself already. Maybe I'll do my own windows too now! The brush and pole are easy to assemble, my only problem is with the storage as the external plastic tubing is difficult to put away tidily. Very trivial. Some reviews state that is heavy but 24ft of aluminium is going to weigh a fair bit and at full extension it does can make your neck ache, but what else can you expect? The only other criticism is about the packing. It was badly damaged and patched up with a lot of tape but the contents were undamaged luckily. Basically I would recommend it.
