Included more tubers than listed, which was a pleasant surprise, because a couple were on the smallish side. Tubers appeared to be in excellent shape, several already starting to sprout. Planted the day I received them as I am in region that recommends planting them in early spring. Planted in containers and looking forward to the addition of their flowers to our porch. Review: Perfect germination rate! - They were delivered pretty fast and arrived in perfect condition, well packed in sawdust. I am currently preparing to plant the pieces in peat pots for transfer to a permanent place in our suburban lawn. I cut every piece I could that has an "eye" in it, just like with seed potatoes, and put them in a pan with a little water, and so far, every one of them is growing! It's going to be about 30 plants. I can hardly wait to see how they do when they get bigger. We have a dual climate, with tropical savannah winters and tropical monsoon summers, so I'm concerned that they may not adapt. We'll see. In any case, I highly recommend these and the seller. Update: They all died because it's too hot here in South Florida. I guess they are a cold climate crop. Very sad.

Packaged with care, viable seed!
I have bought many plant/seeds before online that are duds. These came in perfectly packaged and 100% of what I planted grew and multiplied! When you cook a sunchoke, make sure to use vinegar or lemon so that the compounds that make many people gassy disappear! My sunchokes did not flower this year, but they grew big and tall and I hope to see them flower next year!

Excellent product and careful packaging
My sunchokes arrived in excellent condition, better than advertised, they were well-packed with moistened wood shavings, in moisture-retaining packaging that kept the tubers viable and kept them from drying out. They looked pristine as if they were harvested just before shipment. They came with a succinct planting guide and thank you note, and arrived on time.

Worth every penny!
The tubers came in great shape. I grew them this summer and got a great 'crop' from them.

Grew first year. Second year only one came back.
They grew multiple plants the first year. This year only one came up. Maybe voles got them? Havent dug to see if tubers are there. Will wait and see next year.
