We keep our cats out of the bathroom so the door is kept closed. With multiple people using the bathroom, this sign was definitely needed. We did have to purchase clips to screw it to the door. We don’t know why the adhesive failed. It could be a problem with the paint or finish on the door. The mirror clips were cheap and work fine. I am elderly so we don’t want to lock the door in case of emergency falls or illness. This is a very nice sign and slides easily.

I bought this for the bathroom in my kindergarten classroom, and it has been a huge hit! My old sign was big and cumbersome, and the students constantly forgot to switch it. This mounted easily, and has stayed on my concrete block walls with no issues. The slider is easy to move, and the kids love to switch it when coming in/out of the bathroom. Effective, inexpensive, and engaging-this was a great purchase!

Avoids embarrassing situations! My laundry/powder room door lock is questionable so the sign definitely helps (when guests remember to use it).

My guest bathroom door closes completely, but the door is slightly too small for the jamb and the door knob "tongue" doesn't quite fit in the designated slot, and therefore the door can be opened while the bathroom is in use. Not a problem if you live alone or if your family respects closed-doors, but my guests were uncomfortable with the situation. This inexpensive little gadget solves that issue without the expense of replacing the door and jamb which are in perfect condition. The strip tape provided didn't work on my door, maybe because the door is not a smooth surface, but the "dots" provided are doing the job.
