The pen has tilt function, palm rejection, and the battery lasts a long time. Writing and drawing is smooth as can be. Initial connection with the iPad was a breeze. All I had to do was keep the pen close to my iPad and touch the on/off button on top. It connected almost instantly. It stays connected and I have never had one dropped connection.
