Great!
Great tool to have as a carpenter. Had this items for years! Still very good and despite years of use, it’s in great shape! So easy to use especially when splitting timber/frames apart to cut away or pull out of timber. Harder steel and supper sharp - be warned to keep your hands/finger away from the edge side of the blade, I do mean it when I say it is sharp! Back edge of the blade also makes it easy to use the hammer on. One of my most used tools on the got for any job that would otherwise requires lots of time and ruined chisels.

Expected quality from BAHCO
Very handy if you need a good sized sharp instrument to remove material; grout, plaster, shavings, paint, score gypo, need a chisel, need a knife.... BAHCO so I expect good steel. Nice grip and feel, good sized handle and nice longer blade. There are cheaper ones with smaller blades which might be better value but this is a better size and ofc trust bahco with quality. VERY dangerous though. A mate almost perfectly removed the muscle part of the thumb on his hand like a hot knife through butter. Very useful but be careful with it and keep it in its holster. I would even take the edge off it a bit if you don't need it to be razor

Good so far.
Very pleased with this. I've not used any professional woodworking chisels, so I can't give a really good comparison there, but I was very pleased with this. Pros: - Goes through wood easily and to me seems like it does so accurately. - Can make huge cuts in planks of wood by using the side-strike feature. This is why I chose this item over the Dewalt/Stanley side-strike chisels, which both have huge serrations right on the side-cutting area. - Seems tough and well made. - Plastic sheath works fine, although the bottom of it does stick out really far sideways if you're wearing a well-fitting belt, so you may want to bend the area between the belt clip and the actual sheath just a bit. Not a big problem. - Sharp out of the box. Cons: - The metal on this is ground on both sides, so it's probably not as good for accurate straight cutting as a normal chisel. - The first one I received was used and had a badly rolled tip on the "chisel" part of the bade, which makes me doubt the strength of this, but it's possible someone used it for a material other than wood. Amazon's return was easy and I received a replacement on the next day, before they even collected the broken unit. I will update this review if I get any issues with the blade's steel rolling.

Great addition to the tool belt
These are really useful tools, this is my second one (first was one made by jcb) - this is definitely better quality. The only slight hang up is the edge doesn’t hold for that long (no different really to a normal chisel). But a great item to have in your tool belt especially if you don’t want to wreck your decent chisels.

Strong and sharp
I like this a lot, it's got a sharp edge on one long side and to the front. It's very strong (good for floorboard lifting in tight areas) It's not a chisel for fine woodworking. I have seen this advertised as a wrecking knife elsewhere which is what it is good at, i.e. pulling stuff apart, but not too destructive on the material being pulled (pried) apart. This is important if you plan on re-using the material like door facing (Architrave) A good wood chisel would get its edge ruined and a pry bar would damage the wood. It's worth the cost if you want a strong, sharp, short pry tool that can be re-sharpened like a conventional wood chisel, but you don't mind smacking it into a nail or two, pulling wood apart, in the knowledge it can be re-sharpened again and again till it's worn out. All in I may buy a second one in case the one I have goes missing, I like it that much.

Bahco 2448 Chisel Knife
I've been after a tool like this for years, I've always had to use one of my chisels in the past and usually end up damaging them, then having to regrind them due to hitting nails and portions of the edge breaking away. This has proved a fantastic little tool and got put to use right away, removing plaster from door casings so i can fit architrave was its first job, I'd normally just grab a chisel and sharpen it after but not anymore!. I've also used it to remove old silicone from around window openings, removing timber beading from windows, cutting notches into floor joists, scoring veneered doors, the list goes on and on, it's never off my hip. The tool comes very sharp, unlike a chisels both sides are bevel edged, with the double bevel and the shear sharpness it's ground to I was somewhat apprehensive as to whether it was up to the job, I was expecting chunks to break off the first time I hit a nail, but it wasn't the case, the steel is softer and just tends to roll, after some heavy abuse I just took a file to it to bring back the edge I'm after, you can of course get the razor sharp edge back with grinding and an oil stone, but that's a little too sharp for what I use it for.

Demolition Chisel
This is a useful tool for demolishing - but the one sharp side has caught me out several times. I have the scars to prove it. The knife is excellent- it's the user that is at fault.

Wicked sharp, this knife will do things others cannot. I bought this and several other chisel knives. The Bahco came out leaps and bounds ahead- the double bevel blade, better reach and malletable handle set it out front. I carry this almost every day, I did make a leather sheath, the stock one doesn't play well with my belt.

Molto più utile di un semplice coltello, funziona egregiamente anche da scalpello . E' più grande e robusto di come lo immaginavo e resta affilato a lungo. Lo consiglio.
