OneNineDesign Raspberry Pi LCD Touchscreen Case

Lovely case, very snug. Be aware that the screen is mounted upside down in the case but that’s because the screen specs changed slightly after manufacturers were given the design, this does reduce the viewing angle a little. For anyone intending to power a Pi3B off the screen power output from one power cable, don’t bother as there isn’t enough voltage - I had to remove my Pi from the case twice while trying out options.

Good product, fits pi 3 configuration with picam nicely and feels nice in your hand. Only flaw is that it is upside down! Small change to config file in boot required but fairly straightforward to do on official raspberry pi website troubleshooting touchscreen: [...]

Received my order today, and it’s worth noting, that whilst the quality of the delivered product is good, this case does not fit the Raspberry Pi4. Sure I can file a bit of plastic here and there to wedge the 4 in, but it can’t be secured to the screens risers etc. I should have picked up on the hdmi opening but realistically this products description should be updated to clearly indicate that it is only for Pi3 and below.

Offers good protection for your screen and the pi. Access to gpio is still easy. Just be aware you need to rotate the screen 180 degrees for it to stand on its own.

Nice case, fair price.... although as I read on someone else's review, the case design seems somewhat strange to me. The other review said it seemed upside down, but at the time I thought it was just the rear panel on upside down. After buying this case, it feels somewhat "wrong" to me... in that the power supply goes in at the TOP. It would be much better at the bottom somehow, it's a little messy having a cable poking out from the top - harder to hide. It's also worth noting, that you can NOT use the display with the pi via a usb cable (ModMyPi sell a nice little cable so that you can free up GPIO pins. - it's simply uses the Single USB board on the display, and connects to the micro usb of the RPi. You then connect power to the micro-usb of the display). I will still keep the case, because it's "ok" for my usage and will suffice, however as I said, it does feel like it needs a design revision to fix things.

Quality moulded case, protects the screen and PCB nicely and a standard size HAT board should fit also; be aware that you cannot remove the SD card when the Pi board is inside the case, but it is fairly quick to remove if necessary (four screws hold the screen & Pi into the case)

It has a stand to rest the screen so it stands up with rubber feet on the bottom, however if you use this the touch screen is then upside down. Pretty useless don't buy it, it's not worth my time to return it else I would. They must have got these on the cheap as an error.

Good case but since new screen update this case is actually upside down. With a bit of tinkering managed to flip the screen display so all good in the end ☺

My rasperry pi 3 y pantalla LCD oficial quedaron al chingazo bien protegidas.

Produit parfait pour mon Raspberry, montage facile, inclinaison de l'écran idéal sur mon bureau, et la possibilité de le suspendre à une cloison ou un support est très pratique. De même que le Raspberry soit toujours accessible après montage, et qu'on puisse alimenter le Raspberry et l'écran indépendamment l'un de l'autre sans avoir à retravailler le boitier. Seul point noir, et ça serait du chipotage, est que la plaque arrière n'est pas prévue pour recevoir un ventilateur, et percer la plaque pour n'était pas facile, mais je suis tout de même extrêmement satisfait de ma commande.

I love this case it fitted the pi3 and pi 7 inch sceen with no issues and looks very professional. I just had to change the screen settings around in the pi settings as it was upside down. I added a 5v fan as it was running at 51°c and now with the fan running on 3 volts as to lould on 5v it is around 38°c to 41°c

Stampato alla perfezione, protegge il kit a dovere e gli dona un aspetto compatto e solido, inoltre ha un pratico accesso al Raspberry da dietro, l'unica pecca è che una volta montato non si possa cambiare la scheda SD.
