Purchased this book on recommendation from my son’s music teacher. He is 9 years old and flying through this book at an incredible rate he is happy with the book and says it has helped him immensely. This is not only pleasing for us and him but also his music teacher, all in all a very good purchase with prompt delivery I would highly recommend.

Great fun songs
My son's trumpet teacher asked us to get this book as they are learning some of the songs. There is a huge number of songs to play along too. So far my son has learnt about 10 and they are all really catchy; some familiar and some new to us. I'd highly recommend it.

Fantastic for new musicians!
These are the best beginning books for new instrument learners. My kids have learned the flute, trumpet, trombone and alto sax with these books. They have just the right amount of music theory for the beginning musician without bogging them down. They teach fingerings and basic music! Fantastic books!

A must have book for a beginner trumpet/cornet player.
This book (and Vol 2 in the series) has done more to help my playing progress than any other our there. The online audio of every exercise and tune in the book is invaluable. Like having a teacher at you elbow!
