Gamma Photon Indoor Pickleballs Pack of 6, USAPA Approved, High-Visibility, Durable and Ultra-Balanced

Really like these Gamma indoor pickleballs. Their bounce is true and they are very easy to see. I took off one star because durability has been a slight issue. I've noticed cracks in the balls earlier than I was hoping and one ball even had a split along the seam. I contacted Gamma and they sent me a replacement pack, so I added that star back.

I used these on a gym floor wood surface. The plastic is firm but the ball is not heavy, and not soft like an Onix, Franklin or Warping indoor ball. They are good but play fast, they skid unusually more than bounce (especially on slice shots) almost like an outdoor ball on this indoor surface. These might play different on other indoor surfaces.

Where I play inside, the floor is a tan rubberized (gym) surface and there is red or blue curtains or a soccer field (with a black net) as backdrops. The lighting is ok. This is my first season indoors and have tried both Onix and Penn indoor balls. I find the Onix orange was too close to the floor's color and Penn's red can be hard to pick-up off the backgrounds. Also So I got these to try, in part because I saw an ad in the Dink. The Gamma balls are very bright and easy to pick up under these conditions. They might be too optically hot in fact. Compared to other indoor balls, e.g. Penn 26 or Onyx recruits, these balls are much brighter. But the real difference is they are more lively, much more so than those other balls. They play more like the outdoor balls I've used (e.g. Franklin X40, Pckl, etc.). It's a real adjustment to switch from the Penn's (which is what most of the other people at this club use), which are very soft and you can hit pretty hard. They've stood up to my indoor play, although so have the Penn's and so have the Onyx. Bottom line I've found is while these play much more like the outdoor balls, which I prefer, most of the people I play with indoors (which is an open play format) are used to the softer balls and prefer to stick with them. So if you have a group and they are on-board with this ball, I highly recommend them. But if people are used to the other makes, I'd suggest you get something closer to what they are familiar with.

Love the color. Ball performs pretty well for a few games. The balls get soft at the “top” and “bottom” after several games. You can easily push in at those points. This makes the ball play inconsistently.

These are the best pickleballs! They do crack often especially if playing with a banger but they are the favorite in my pickleball group.

Seems really good, we had others before and any big hit seemed to split them. Have been using these for 3 months and only one not 100% is the one stepped on but it uncrunched and is round and we even used it... Seemed to not bounce 100% all the time but that is still pretty good for a plastic ball.
