The best calculator I’ve ever had. Truly professional and very reliable. It’s fast, accurate, and very easy to use. The display is clear and well designed, which makes calculations much easier, especially for complex equations. The functions available are perfect for engineering and scientific work. The build quality is excellent, and it feels solid and durable. In my opinion, it offers great value for money and is suitable for students as well as professionals. Highly recommended!

Outside of a graphing calculator, which is a much more expensive and complex proposition, this has to be the best you can get. Casio has spent years refining the way these things work, and it shows. The keyboard, for instance, is faultless. The display, considering it's not backlit, is very clear, and higher resolution than in previous models so you can have more rows in a table or spreadsheet. It's a very fast calculator too, with most operations happening instantly. Mostly it works on solar power, and there's a little 'sun' icon to tell you this is happening. If the light's too dim, the LR44 backup battery will take over, and since this is just about the most widely available button cell battery, you should be able to replace it easily and for peanuts. The range of functions on offer is amazing – almost too much until you get your head around them. Might be worth watching some YouTube videos for this. There are quite a few on this calculator and others that work like it does. One cool feature is the 'QR code' creator that puts a QR code on the screen you can scan with your phone to get graphical representations of functions through the Casio app that you would be able to put into projects. Nice. If you're tempted to get a cheaper brand to save a couple of quid, don't bother. This is such a low price you may as well have the best. You won't get the great keyboard with a cheaper brand, or the speed, or the cool carbon-fibre effect body. Casios are always well built and last forever. This one weighs nothing but feels good and well built although the hard case it fits into is a little bit rattly and being white will show dirt. My only other criticisms are that some of the text on the keyboard is a bit too small to read comfortably, especially on the textured surface, and the same thing applies to some of the text on the screen too, like the list of scientific constants. And this comes in a blister pack that you have to destroy to open instead of a simple box you can keep. Small beer. Really, this is about as good as it gets. It's outstanding. Just get one.

I'm so happy with the calculator I purchased over a year ago; it has been a true workhorse. The display is still crystal clear, and the keys haven't faded or stuck, despite frequent use. The battery life has also been surprisingly good, and I haven't needed to replace it yet. I would absolutely recommend this calculator to anyone looking for a reliable and long-lasting tool. It's a great investment, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Does the job for GCSE and A-level Maths, in style. Looks good and works well. It has dual-battery (solar and cell) so it will probably last years before needing to change the battery. There are lots of functions that enable you to solve problems that others have to do manually, such as solving for x in an equation. It can convert between denary, binary and hexadecimal, useful in Computer Science but a shame that calculators aren't allowed in CS exams! Had to look in the (very useful) manual to find out the functions of some features. However, a small gripe is that it's missing the "recurring" symbol, for example when you want to write 1/3 as a decimal but you have to input 0.33333 and so on rather than 0.3*. Other Casio calculators have this, including my older fx-83gt plus. Not sure why this wasn't implemented in this model. Everything else is otherwise perfect. Durable hard cover, clear display and aesthetic design. Recommended for students in exam years.

Good quality calculator with its own cover that doubles as a case

For my degree I needed a calculator that could do slightly more advanced stuff than a regular Casio, such as Matrices. This calculator does it all, sometimes it even feels like cheating! It's also pretty good at the more basic stuff, like being able to solve a lot of algebra. Handy if you need to check an answer quickly without substituting values back in, or if you just need a nudge in the right direction. If you can find a copy of the instructions for this calculator online, it tells you what it can do, which is quite a lot! I'm not great at Maths, but I needed to pass a small for my degree. This calculator really helped give me that extra push. My only complaint is that the text is a little small and hard to read. I have relatively good eyesight so this doesn't bother me, but someone with worse eyesight; especially without glasses, may struggle with this calculator screen.

I was looking for a scientific calculator that is not programmable but can also calculate in hexadecimal and binary. I have never in my life read a user manual for a calculator but I DID read it this time because I wanted to know all the different functionalities that it can do. It helped me with my university workload and shortened the time I do homework because it can do many calculations for me. Logical calculations for binary and Hexadecimal numbers is also very helpful. All in all I am very happy with the calculator and I think it is a good investment for (SC) students. Casio delivered a great product once again.

Buenas por aquí, el artículo me llegó tarde, a mi hijo le hicieron la pascua,tenía un examen y no llego a tiempo...dejando eso a un lado... La calculadora es espectacular tiene todas las funciones necesarias para utilizar en la E.S.O y más...los tutoriales no vienen en español, pero no supone ningún problema, es intuitiva y fácil de utilizar además tiene una tecla con código QR desde el cual accedes a tutorial español y lo puedes consultar, descargar,etc.... Un saludo ....

Sympathique machine, parfaite pour l'informaticien grâce aux conversions entre bases (binaire, hexa, decimal). Intègre la résolution de fonction, les intégrales et la factorisation (de petit nombre). Seul regret, pas d'historique permanent. Quand on l'éteint, tout est perdu.
