it’s small, but effective, good for intimate bits , and trimming body, it’s quiet, runs on a AA battery, and is better than expected. hair comb has just broke after 8 months of use which is a shame, will be getting another when it dies.

The machine itself is great, but the pieces are extremely expensive to replace and with limited availability, mostly they have to be shipped from another country.

I've been using a razor and beard trimmer, before buying the 1100. Cuts and nicks were fairly common and each time was a risky exercise. The 1100 gets pretty close and despite awkward angles and clumsy fingers, I havnt been able to cut myself since. You do have to trim more often than with a shave, but the ease of use and safety of ot fair outweighs the negatives.

Does what you want it to do. The battery lasts a long time

Works OK, but seems to be getting harder to cut hair. Possibly getting duller?? Always was very slow to cut though, but it has to be said that i have not cut myself whilst using.

Always feared of cutting my schlong. Well this razor gave me the confidence to clean my Mandingo up without any cuts whatsoever!! Nice one Philips.

Catches the skin a lot. Not a very good product.

Shave is good battery life also is good . Ease to hold . But performance could be better for thick hair. It's tack long time when the cut off the hair you must go 3 4 times on same ground for shaving

La Bodygroom Series 1100 cumple su función. No irrita la piel, es fácil de usar y limpiar. Los accesorios son buenos, sin embargo, en el caso de la cabeza más grande da la sensación de ser fácil de romper pero creo dependerá del uso de cada uno. El corte que realiza es buena con ambas cabezas, es recomendable reducir primero la cantidad de "cabello", en caso de que sea grande, antes de hacer uso de la máquina. No porque no sea capaz de recortarlo sino porque su potencia en este caso no es la necesaria, necesitarás varias pasadas antes de poder realizar un recorte sin mucho esfuerzo. Deja las zonas limpias, sin ardor o irritación además de que es excelente para zonas íntimas. Recomendable y eficaz, se recomienda buscarle un estuche ya que pueden ser fácil de perder o romper los accesorios.

I've tried a number of shavers for the groin area and the results were usually burning irritation and some blood involved. I was even surprised that one brand, which showed the unit in the commercial being stroked across a balloon without popping, but I was left with some razor burn and some blood when I used it. No bueno. I wasn't about to bite the bullet and buy a shaver that cost north of 30 dollars thinking it would do a better job. I think a shaver at that price is ridiculous. So I picked this Bodygroom shaver based on the positive reviews with a bit of skeptical hope. This unit arrived very quickly and I put the unit to use the very same day. I thought I'd give it a try first on my underarms since it wasn't as sensitive as my groin area albeit still a challenge because the area has wrinkly ridges so I would get nicked in the past. I had no issues with the Bodygroomer. It's great that there are blades on both sides of the head. That helped with getting the hairs despite the growth direction. Being satisfied with the results on the underarms without drawing any blood, it was safe enough to try and conquer the groin area. I realized the key to this shaver was the tiny guide comb surrounding the blade. There is the smaller one already installed which can be switched out for the longer comb if you just need a trim and prefer to leave some length. The comb with the tiny teeth goes close enough to shave the hairs off and prevents the blades from mangling you down there. The result is a "close enough" shave, but not smooth as a blade. I also like that this shaver is shaped like your regular analog blade so it can be manipulated and maneuvered easily. I loved knowing I didn't have to be too gentle for risk of getting cut. I was able to get right in there. I'll be honest and admit that I wanted a trimmer that could be used beyond the family jewels. For the first time in my life I was able to tackle that area, including around the *ahem* rear chute. I feel cleaner, happier now. Finally, a mangroomer that can take care of the groin area and then some. I am more than satisfied with this shaver. Worth every penny. I do have to mention that when I was using the trimmer, the guide popped off a couple of times because I might have been pressing to hard, so I thought I'd mention that. I don't know if this will cause an annoyance down the line, but I can't get over that this shaver handled the job right up to the backside and even though it wasn't the closest shave like a blade, it was definitely close enough without any mangling or decapitation. I still have to tested it in the shower on the area that was getting longer with the additional comb attachment and the process was so easy because the cleanup went straight to the drain and the blade rinsing was right at the spigot before I turned the water off. So good, I'm considering purchasing a backup unit. I don't know how some people still got nicks, even when following directions because I was going at it full mower mode. Safest product I tried for groin trimming.

i really enjoyed using this product, works perfect better than i expected a real must get for men who like to shave the sensitive areas.

A good product but slightly pricy... Shave quality can be improved

Comprei esse body trimmer da Philips há 4 anos e ele continua funcionando como se fosse novo. O corte é preciso e suave, e o design é super prático para usar no banho ou em viagens. Já testei outros aparadores, mas nenhum chegou perto da qualidade e durabilidade desse modelo. É o tipo de produto que vale cada centavo e mostra o porquê a Philips é referência nesse tipo de aparelho. Recomendo de olhos fechados!
