This was a Birthday gift for our granddaughter who was turning 8. It's easy enough for her to do but still challenging enough to keep her interest. She's looking forward to painting it.

Our son loves animals and crafts and he was so excited when he opened this gift!

Fun to build, good quality, no issues

Grandson loved this. He did an awesome job with the help if his dad.

I bought 8 of these for a team activity for my job. We placed them around our campus at work. The one I opened had the wrong part inside. It had 3 angled walls instead of 2, which means I was shorted one square wall. The paint included is nowhere near enough to actually paint the house, so I just bought paint at Walmart. The paint in the kits was kind of dried out. I also used my own gorilla glue. The instructions are not as nice as shown in the picture. They are kind of lousy. MAKE SURE YOU FIT EVERYTHING TOGETHER FIRST BEFORE NAILING/GLUING. I'd forgive most of the above, but there is a particular way of constructing the roof, and you have to make sure you do it correctly so the hooks go through the holes in the roof the right way. Even if you do this, though, you can't screw the hooks into the pre-drilled holes because that doesn't line up correctly. I had to basically drill new holes off to the side in order to get things to work. Just seems shoddy in that regard. If you don't get this right or tweak it, your house will hang askew. I was going to have my kids use these as well, but after doing this with co-workers, I'm going to build their houses from scratch.

My Four year-old grandson absolutely had a blast doing this with his grandpa. He helped hammer all the nails in, and then he was able to paint it. He gave one to his mom and one to me great present that he did himself!!

I bought this as a guft. I could tell it was good quality based on the packaging.

Went together well, my six year old was able to assemble it following my instructions. The hanging chain fit awkwardly but otherwise a fun, functional craft.

J’ai donné ce nichoir à construire à mon petit fils de 6 ans. Il a aimé la fabrication sous ma supervision mais je suis déçu du format et de la peinture incluse. Le pinceau est vraiment de mauvaise qualité, impossible de peindre avec et trop peu de peinture pour faire quelque chose de beau. Je ne rachèterait pas.

The construction of the birdhouse needs adult involvement if little kids are building it. It’s because it has to have the walls nailed. Also the kit could use more paint.Doesn’t look like there’s enough to paint the whole birdhouse..

It’s a lot smaller than expected but my son and I had fun building and painting it. Great little project to do with your kids.
