Magene H603 Chest Strap Heart Rate Monitor, ANT+ and Bluetooth Compatible with Fully Adjustable Strap, iPhone & Android Compatible

Strap and unit are very comfortable to wear. At 5'9" & 220lbs, I don't even notice it on me when I'm riding my bike. Zero signs of corrosion on the metal contact points after a few weeks of daily use. It gets a fresh water rinse after every use. Accuracy seems spot on with my athletic watch and the battery still shows 100% after 3 weeks. Paired with my bike computer, phone and indoor trainer. No drop offs to report. At half the price of other make brands, this unit is an absolute steal imo.

No issues so far the past few months. It pairs with all my computers with no issues. Low price. Whats not to be happy about?

After three months of great accurate operation the unit started to report heart rates all over the place. The trend is correct but it jumps a lot, It can move from 145 to 179 and then down to 159 and back to 145. It does it a lot when I put it on, then the gaps go down but it still moves all over the place. Other reviews suggested that customer support is not responsive so I am just going to buy a different brand. Sucks!

(See my update below) Worked pretty well the first three times. My last few rides it did not record or only partially recorded. my last ride on my strava app it read I had exactly 165 BPM heart rate for 3/4 of my 2hr ride...it was a flat line!! Seemed to be working for the first quarter. *****1/7/25 update: So After having watched a video about placement, I realized this may not have been contacting my skin as well as it needed to, thus it was not working properly. The placement above my sternum didn't allow good contact. I placed a bit to the left, close to the left side of my chest and it worked. I wanted to update my previous post. May come back to give it a 5 star if it continues to work with better placement.

I was about to pull the trigger on a wahoo heart rate monitor that was 2-3x the price but thankfully was turned on to Magene by some cycling friends of mine. I bought it and absolutely love it. It stays secure around the chest, is extremely accurate and I love that the band is washable. It was easy to sync to my Wahoo element computer and I've had zero problems with it. Would recommend!

50 mile weekly MTB rides, and I wanted a HRM that was more accurate than my Fitbit, which I've used for 2 years. The Magene HRM paired easily and quickly with my phone + Strava. The strap was comfortable, and I liked the red status LED that turned on once I connected the strap in. I'm no longer using the Fitbit, and I'm relying solely on the HRM for workout health metrics. The Fitbit missed distance data and dropped GPS, and was another digital device to charge and wear. Now I only use the HRM + phone on workouts. The Magene works well.

UPDATE: it stopped working. my bike computer no longer receives data. i've ordered a replacement ... we'll see. downgrading rating to 2 stars. i bought a different brand, which didn't work out of the box. luckily the magene's worked flawlessly. easily paired to my wahoo bolt bike computer. it sends (what i think) is accurate data ... i compared it to what my apple watch was reporting ... i think they were off by about 1bpm. i can live with that. comfy chest band too .. easy to snap on and off!

Czujnik używany z urządzeniem Bryton Rider 750. To już kolejny (po kadencji i prędkości) zakupiony przez mnie czujnik tego producenta. I również spisuje się bardzo dobrze. Odczyt tętna przebiega bez zakłóceń, nie spotkałem się z rozłączaniem czujnika lub podawaniem niewłaściwych wartości. Pas utrzymuje czujnik we właściwym położeniu, nie wymaga poprawiania w trakcie jazdy. Za tę cenę szczerze polecam jako tańszy odpowiednik drogich markowych czujników.
