This is a fantastic filter that handles everything from ginger powder to coffee grinds, and of course your loose leaf teas. I bought this one 2 years ago and we use it so often I just ordered another. Hubby and I are using more healthy powders (like ginger) and bulk loose tea products. Fine metal mesh doesn't work as well as cloth mesh. Cleaning it is a breeze, just swish in soapy water and gently wipe with a soft sponge. Fantastic, durable product that lets us save money buying bulk teas, steep a variety of herbal products, and avoid having to buy a coffee maker. Highly recommend!

I had one like this, but with plastic mesh, many years ago and had hunted for another for ages and then I found this. I use this with coffee at work as a bit of variety from my coffee bags. It's great and very easy to use just put a scoop of coffee in,pour over the water,leave for a few minutes to brew then lift out. Tap the coffee grains out and wash. I've used a dishcloth and also a brush to wash and no damage has occurred. Easy peasey. Also comes with a lid which can also be used a tray to stand the basket on. I like the fact that this is small,easy to use,easy to clean,hardly any mess and allows you choice in respect of which grounds you use it with. I keep it in my drawer at work and with my ocd it's still in its original box. For those wanting fresh brewed coffee (or loose leaf tea) I would recommend this as much less hassle and less washing up than a cafetiere.

Perfect for making coffee! Don't really understand why more people aren't using this approach... Really convenient, easy to use and clean (I use the lid to tap on the basket to empty it after use, which works very fast). Much less washing up than cafetiere. Can get great taste of ground coffee without all the hassle. The mesh is incredibly fine (only a little of the dust-like powder will get through it, but it is not a problem as it settles on the bottom of a cup. One thing to say, I would not recommend using the same basket for both coffee and tea; it's difficult to completely get rid of traces of coffee in the mesh, which inevitably cause the green tea get a hint of coffee taste. Had it for 5 years, it's still like new, in spite of daily use.

I started to look for a permanent coffee filter when a fault developed on my coffee machine, and I baulked at the cost of a replacement. The brewing basket is a small mesh and plastic cylinder with two lips that allow it to fit in most cups, mugs and tea- or coffee pots. It comes with a lid/drip tray. Brewing tea is easy, with just a little experimentation about the right amount of leaves and brewing time. Cleaning is easy with a small spoon and rinsing, making it less messy than a traditional teapot. Suitable for anyone who prefers loose teas to the more expensive and less milieu friendly tea bags. Coffee is a little trickier, but that is the nature of coffee brewing in general. Perhaps needs a little more experimentation than tea to get the quantity of grounds and brewing time right. Certainly as good as, if not better, than paper filters for the price of about 2 -3 boxes of papers. Ironically my coffee machine appears to have repaired itself, so the Finum will be mostly used for tea.

Oh how I have missed filter coffee. I bought the first one on impulse after losing my sense of smell with covid. I thought (correctly) that the smell of fresh coffee might help to reawaken my senses. NB I found the picture a little confusing and thought that there were two in the box so had to order a second for my husband. The purchase was well worth making and I love the wonderful aroma as I open the packet of ground coffee every morning. It is also very good for loose tea and so easy to clean and store.

Brilliant little brewing basket. Fits my large cup perfectly with it's plastic edges. Love the little stand that catches drips, or can be used as a lid to save the tea leaves for another brew. This is very high quality, easy to wash and best of all it lets through basically no tea leaves at all so you dont end up with sludge at the bottom of your cup.

Simple to use and great for a single cup of coffee. Easy to clean and lid keeps coffee hot. Had something similar for years so hope this lasts as long

I discovered this item on a FB page for items made out of cuben material. This thing is the best for on the go “real” coffee. Use it at work, out walking, while out on runs (I carry a Raidlight Olmo). Sturdy as, carrying it around in my work jacket pocket (I’m a mechanical engineer). Took a few cups to get the tea spoon amount right, but that’s down to personal preference really. If I lost or broke my current one, I’d buy a replacement straight away, saves the hassle of a cafetière, easy to clean, no glass, and cheaper. Win win all day.

Der Dauerfilter ist wirklich praktisch und hochwertig verarbeitet. Er lässt sich leicht befüllen, schließt sauber und gibt weder Geschmack noch Gerüche ab. Tee und Kaffee werden aromatisch, ohne dass feine Partikel durchrutschen. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass er sich schnell ausspülen lässt und sofort wieder einsatzbereit ist. Umweltfreundlich, langlebig und eine tolle Alternative zu Papierfiltern.

Very nice tea brewer. The super fine mesh lets me make a cup of almost dust-like Ceylon tea without any of the tea leaves ending up in my tea cup. Perfect!

Un objet qui (re)donnera tout l'intérêt de déguster votre thé en vrac, sans perte de feuilles dans votre tasse. En sachet, le thé est plus onéreux au kilo que pour le vrac et sa qualité est moindre, car le mode de culture est différent et il y a souvent des arômes artificiels pour relever le goût des débris de feuilles contenues dans les sachets ; à moins d'acheter en bio... Ici, avec cet infuseur bon marché et solide, vous amortissez immédiatement votre paquet de thé en vrac par rapport à la même contenance en sachet, qui plus est avec une qualité optimale ! Puisqu'il faut bien donner un avis négatif je dirai, c'est dommage que le couvercle ne ferme pas une fois posé sur le haut de l'infuseur. Ce n'est qu'une broutille, histoire d'équilibrer mon avis. Assez large pour aller dans la majorité des tasses ou mug moyen, cet infuseur sobre est fait pour celles et ceux qui veulent avoir un produit simple et efficace, facile à nettoyer et qui fait parfaitement ce pourquoi il a été conçu. Mon conseil : pour les thés "blanc et vert", faites frémir votre eau pour ne pas dénaturer les feuilles. Pour vos thés noirs, vous pouvez faire bouillir. Le thé noir n'est qu'un thé vert qui a fermenté et qui demande une température élevée pour pouvoir faire ressortir ses arômes et ses propriétés. En résumé, plus le thé est de couleur clair, moins chaude devra être votre eau, inversement donc quand on s'approche des thés "sombres". Le thé est un formidable antioxydant, nécessaire au bon maintient de nos cellules, responsable du vieillissement de notre corps. Pour finir, le thé étant la 2e boisson la plus consommé au monde après l'eau, il faut privilégier davantage le thé en vrac qui fait vivre dignement les personnes qui les cultivent, bien plus qu'avec le thé en sachet... Écologiquement, humainement, gustativement et pour ses propriétés, le thé en vrac gagne sur tous les plans. Santé, éthique, plaisir pour son choix impressionnant et facilement accessible, le thé en vrac ne se refuse plus avec cet infuseur !
