Only problem is that the user manual is too concise to understand the settings. Otherwise this is the best light I ever used in my 20 + years of this hobby.

Firstly, the delivery is great! It came earlier than expected. The product's build is good. The complaints by reviewers about the control panel being sensitive to touch is real. Just have to learn to get to use to it. Overall, it is a good product from my unboxing it and trying out the modes and settings. The standard mode should be adequate. Just ensure the time settings of Day-ON and Day-OFF that work for you.

Second purchase of this brand for a new tank. It’s well made and easy to set the time. Love the built in auto default program. Don’t have to be there to set the time. Very bright and even illumination for my 20 long.

Excellent Aquarium lights! I use these for my vivariums & they work spectacularly. I did a lot of research before buying these lights & the hygger brand was highly recommended & I can see why. They have many customization options, & my favorite is the DIY cycle so you can set brightness/color/time for the entire day. The only gripe I have (which is a common gripe I read online) is that the instructions are confusing & it can be hard to set up until you figure out what to do. But once I knew how to operate the lights they have been great & my plants are thriving. I definitely recommend these lights for an aquarium/vivarium setup.

Some far this and excellent light. I am get good growth on my 10 gallon planted tank. I am using it at full intensity. The timer works well and I like the daylight cycle timer. It is a bright light and will need to be adjusted if not using CO2. Did not try the diy feature. It does run warm to the touch but not hot. I also tested with a watt meter and it is running at it 26 watts. Bought this as a trial to see if worth getting 48 inch light for a 75 gal I am starting to plant so far it looks good One thing I did find that the growth is comparable to a smaller joyhill light I have on a smaller aquarium. So some generic China stuff does work.

I have two now and I’m probably going to get more for my other tanks as well! I also just bought the clips for them so that’ll be even cooler. I like the timer aspect and the screen. I’ve dropped it in water and still works perfectly. I feel the settings are fairly simple and straight forward. Overall great light lights my tank well and grows my plants too! I can’t wait to get more.
