Kiinde Twist Active Latch Nipples for Breast Milk or Formula Feeding - Slow Flow (2 Pack)

The active lactch nipples are great! It can be frustrating that only the slow flow nipples are with the holders, so this is a great way to get the faster flowing nipples. I liked to have at least 3 of each type since that's how many my son goes through in a day at daycare. The nipples are great as no milk comes out without him sucking. It did take daycare a little bit of time to learn how to use the nipples, but once they did a few of the caretakers mentioned they loved the bottles. It took me reading a review somewhere to find out the following information. I wish that Kiinde had it on their website more clearly. Unlike most bottles you want to START with the fast flow nipples (unless you get a starter kit you will likely need to purchase these) because your baby needs to learn to use them. As they get better at learning how the nipples work you can move down to the medium and then the slow flow. He's been using the slow flow nipples now for about 6 weeks (he's 6 months old and I went back to work when he was 3 months old). The new versions of the nipples are better than the old ones. The new ones have different colored caps for the slow (yellow), medium (blue), and fast (white/clear) nipples so it's easy to tell them apart. However, when I was steam cleaning them at the same time it can be difficult to read which nipple was which from the base. I did have to use the cleaning brush to "open up" the values a little more on the slow flow. Some of the slow were harder for my son to use than the medium, but once I did that I had no problem. Unfortunately I don't know if those were the old or new style nipples. Great customer service -- I wrote to kiinde twice because of questions on how to use the nipples (as I mentioned above, start fast then slow), but also confusion on the new vs. old nipples. Both times I had a response within 24 hours - sometimes at 3:00 am when I was up nursing too - and they were always happy to make things right for me.

I have been using the Kiinde system since my first baby and I absolutely love it! It has been a great and easy thing for everyone in the family to use. I had heard that babies can be really picky about the type of bottles and nipples when they are breastfed babies. I have used these for both of my kids and they love these nipples so much that I never had to try any other type. Another pro is that they are truly leak proof, I have turned the bottle upside down and not a drop comes out. For my first baby I also bought a few medium and fast flow nipples for when she got bigger and it was such a mistake! The medium flow was too much for her so needless to say I never even tried the fast flow ones. Talking to a friend I realized that I did not need to buy another flow as with use the little hole will get bigger and the flow will be faster as the baby grows. I just make sure I rotate the nipples so they all get about the same use and I just kept using the same ones until she was done with the bottle. For my second one I just bought new slow flow nipples and will continue to use them until he no longer drinks from the bottle too. The only thing that has made me a little nervous in the past is that the nipple is easy to get on and off the bottle (unlike with regular bottles that you have to screw on and off), which made me think that when my daughter was older (about 1 year old) she would pull the nipple off and milk would spill all over the place. This never actually happened, so I am not even sure it would, but I never really left her all alone with the bottle either.

My LO loves this system. Have been using for 8 months so far ( we have never done any other bottle ) the nipples come in normal packaging . And the nipples are always clean. The nipples last awhile. The kiinde nipple cleaner is a must with these as it's the only thing so far that cleans it properly. Not sure why some of the reviews on here are bad. I've had nothing but positive feedback from this system. The kiinde bags I've never had a issue ( except for 1 time ) but it was dealt with VERY WELL by kiinde customer service. They didn't argue and are more then happy to assist you. They even mailed me 2 boxes with the ones I had a issue with for free. ( the bags were just cut) but that was 7 months ago. These nipples are amazing and again my LO loves this system. Thank you Kiinde for coming up with such an easy afforadable system wish I knew about this with my first.

I purchased a Kiinde Breast Milk Storage Twist Starter Kit at a local store not knowing what to expect but thinking that if pumping directly into the bags worked well, it would be a great convenience for me and it would be easier for my daycare provider to feed my baby. I *LOVE* the whole system and purchased extra bottles and nipples to use. My daughter was happy to drink from the bottle with these nipples and had no tummy issues, I assume partially because this bottle system allows no (or very little) air into it. I would highly recommend this to any breastfeeding moms. Everything washes up nicely in the dishwasher. One of the many adapters provided fit perfectly with my Medela pump and I find it much easier to pump into the Kiinde bags that screw securely into the adapter than into the Medela bags, which just hang from the pump's breast shields. When I'm done pumping, I cap the bags, throw them in the refrigerator, and can transfer them right into the cooler bag that goes to daycare. My daycare provider then pops the milk storage bags into the bottle, unscrews the cap, pops the nipple on, and is ready to feed my daughter. I cannot say strongly enough how happy I am that I purchased the Kiinde products!

I hardly write a review, but these work really well. My wife tried a few different mainstream brands so our newborn can get breastmilk through a bottle when she needed a break, but most that said slow flow were way too fast. With other brands he would get too much way too quick, alot of air, and become real fussy more than he is now. With this brand he gets a good latch, less air, and it goes real slow, so slow he has to take breaks to continue, which is really good so he doesnt get nipple confusion or accustom to getting the breastmilk too quick and can still feed on mom with no issues. We like these, and we will continue to use them.

This is the most amazing quality I could find! My kids when they used it, they loved it. It looks like mommy and the materiales are perfect.

My insurance pays for the bags so I pump directly into them and bring nipples (in their cases) with me so that when I pick baby up from daycare, all I need to do is click them into the white frame for the following day. The ease of not having to wash a million bottle parts has allowed me to reclaim my time. I was worried that the flow was going to be too fast for a breastfed baby, but NOPE. They are perfectly super slow. A couple of tips: let whoever know that these heat up super fast so be mindful of bottle warmers. I have had the best luck using Dapple bottle/dish cleaner bc Blue Dawn left the milk cloudiness and they smelled like dish soap no matter how many times I rinsed.

The whole Kiind breastfeeding starter kit is amazing but these conveniently clip right on to any pouch of frozen milk! Moms can pump right into one of their pouches! Amazing system!
