Great set; beware if you buy several
Great little set that introduces everyday words that kids will actually use. However, if you buy more than one language’s set (and have a kid with a good memory), be warned that the texts are not the same across all the books. Some are exactly the same, and some tell a slightly different story or name the characters differently.

My kid loves the books, I love that she's having fun learning German.

Easy to grasp and follow along
We did enjoy this little book of beginner readers. We got it in Spanish as well, and they both follow the same format so if you’re learning more than one language that is an advantage.
