I used to just use styrofoam mannequin heads but wigs would honestly fall of or detach from the head while I'm in the middle of styling, that and, stands don't really want to work with them without modifications to the head itself. This kit has changed my wig styling experience, I do not have to worry about the wig falling off, pins stay in this head securely and the stand is helpful. This kit has all the pins and hair clips you need and come with combs too. And best of all, it was not an arm and a leg. I'm so happy with my purchase.

Don't waste your time, this is absolute garbage. Going for the cheap stuff, just a waste of time. Spend the money, get the good quality metal stands, this is plastic and garbage and didn't even hold it's own weight.
