Perixx PERIMICE-713L, Wireless Ergonomic Left Handed Vertical Mouse, 6 Buttons Design, 3 Level DPI, Black, Medium

Like most people who still rely heavily on a computer and a mouse to read articles, play games, and type communications, the side issue has always been a sore wrist from frequent use. Before this purchase, my wireless mouse was the typical small turtle shell shape, easy to maneuver, but painful with extended use. Being left handed also made finding a good mouse difficult. Knowing nothing about options for mice, I came across this one and thought the design made sense, providing it still does the job, and maybe without so much wrist pain. I was very surprised it did exactly that. Your hand fits into it like a handshake and with practice works fine. I will say adjusting the control of the mouse takes a bit of work as the hand movement won't feel natural at first. But stick with it. It's worth it. Highly recommended.

[No compensation of any kind was received in connection with this review.] Old age and years of pointing and clicking have left me with moderate wrist pain if I use an ordinary mouse. I began exploring vertical mice a few years ago and, as I'm left-handed, the field of contenders was pretty small. I first tried the only offering from the BigBrand mouse company. It eased the pain, but that mouse is a very poor match for my left hand: it seems hard to grip, awkward to maneuver, and my thumb can't reach either of the thumb buttons. Also, the BigBrand vertical mouse is way too expensive. Then I found the Perimice-713L from Perixx, a company unfamiliar to me. This mouse feels just right in my hand, it points, clicks, and tracks exactly as it ought, and the price is about one-third of BigBrand's. I've used the 713-L with three variants of Linux (Kubuntu, Fedora, Debian) with no difficulties at all. In fact, I've got just one suggested improvement, and it's quite minor. There's a switch that selects one of three DPI levels; I wish there were an LED that signals which level is currently selected. Would I buy another one? I already have: I've now got three of these Perixx mice, one at each of three different locations. Try to find a way to handle a vertical mouse before you buy one. The BigBrand mouse is good, in most respects, but it's plain uncomfortable for me in daily usage. The Perimice 713-L works far better in my hand; that it costs only a fraction of the BigBrand price is merely a bonus.

Four years ago, I played a lot of computer games, hours a day. Util I found my right shoulder cannot endure it any more. I quite the computer game, I also had no choice but switch to left hand. But I still have to spent hours on computer and mouse everyday, that's my job. So, since then, I am keeping searching for a mouse designed for left handed. I bough 718L first, because it has "smaller" size compare to this. Nobody knows how that could be so poorly designed, the designer must be drunk when sketch the product I guess. I returned 718L immediately and bought this 713L. It fits my hand much better than its smaller brother, I don't need to twist my fingers to fit the buttons. I can lift the mouse if I need because the material gives enough friction. Moving is nothing, light and easy. Buttons are configurable, no pain. I am considering buy two more mice. One for my desktop at home and one for my desktop at work. I may also buy one or two more for my wife -- though she doesn't suffer any RSI. I do take off one star from the review because I found the driver program cannot be closed when I am using the mouse. Once closed, the buttons go back to default configuration which I specifically want to avoid. I dont like the small icon on the bottom right corner of my monitor.

I study a design field and use this mouse all day, every day, probably hundreds of clicks a day... and this mouse is the only one I'll use. I've been using this mouse for 2 years. The mouse is a great size for my medium sized hands, and the grippy texture makes it easy to maneuver. The scroll wheel is excellent. I love the quick DPI toggle. No strain on my hands or wrist. This mouse has stood up to being tossed in the bottom of my backpack, and dropped on the floor. Basically, without this mouse working in Adobe programs is a chore for me. I've tried the way more expensive Logitech left handed vertical mouse, and it pales in comparison to this Perixx in comfort, ease of use, control and durability. Perixx, take this mouse to the next level! I'd love to see Bluetooth connectivity without a USB connector, similar to the Logitech mouse. It would also be great to have the front/back window buttons work on a Mac. The click has a satisfying feel, but the sound is pretty loud. If you could make a similar feeling mouse with a quieter click (not necessarily silent), that would be excellent. They have excellent customer service and sent me an entirely new mouse when my USB connector broke and I was having issues reconnecting with the new USB connector they'd already sent me. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed and hope you continue to innovate your already great products.

This was terrific at first. where it's made for larger hands, I still preferred it to the flat mice. Absolutely loved it. BUT Within the past several weeks, its accuracy went to hell. It judders across the screen. Fresh batteries may or may not help. Sometimes it works fine for a few minutes, then right back to juddering, and I have to look for the cursor which may be anywhere, or nowhere at all. Trying to find the cursor is a challenge. I checked the battery compartment to see if anything was out of place, but all is well. Blew out the laser light with compressed air in case dust was interfering. Wiped the light with a soft lint-free cloth in case anything stickier than dust was interfering. Keep desk clean so it wasn't picking up junk from there. A mouse pad does not help. No matter what I try, this mouse has given up its utility. Based on another review, I'm trying another mouse by the same company. I hope to get longer use from it. This mouse is inexpensive so not a big loss. Maybe expecting longer life is too much?

For years, I've had various different mice, and usually stripped down versions of the really cool multibutton mice on the market simply because I am left-handed and I have small hands. I have never purchased a mouse online because I always want to make sure that the mouse is going to be comfortable. For the most part, I've stuck with Logitech for decades. But after my mouse died a slow and painful death, I decided to go online and see if I can actually find a cool left-handed mouse that would fit my hand and have the functionality of the many different mice out there with other function buttons. I came across this one and was instantly intrigued, so I decided to give it a try. It connected to my computer without any fussing. And it feels comfortable, but different from standard mice. I am sure that I will get used to it the more I use it. So far, I really like it. It's a little bit big, but then again, maybe it's just because it's a different hand position that's making it feel a little awkward. Will revisit this review at a later date. So far, so good! Update: purchased the first one in 2020. purchased a replacement today because i really love this mouse and was glad that the design hadn't changed. i think 4 years is a good life expectancy for a mouse, so no stars deducted. it's so hard to find a comfortable ergo lefty mouse.

On one hand, I absolutely love this mouse. It is absolutely amazing and it works so well. On the other hand, it's been less than a year and my wheel has stopped working. So, while a great and comfortable design, it is very poor quality.

Great for Parkinson's symptoms. My PD right side tremors has rendered my right hand incapable to to use my right hand to write with and use a computer mouse. I tried this left hand mouse and it is a perfect fit and the transition to my left hand going very good.

We got two ergonomic mice, this one and one from Loetad for our shared home office. I must say this Perixx is superior in that it feels more precise, ergonomical for small to mid-sized hands, at a lower price point compared to the Loetad. No matter which model they take a day or two to get used to but highly recommended if that's what you are after. The only minus is that it's not silent/dampened like the Loetad but pretty 'clicky', thought that's a matter of taste really.

Köpte den för att träna vänster hand, för att jag brukar få ont i höger axel med en vanlig mus, då jag är högerhänt. Funkar så bra att jag kommer att köpa en för högerhänta också för att se hur det funkar. Den är dock lite för liten för mina stora händer, men man lär sig väl.

Très satisfaite de cette souris ergonomique pour gaucher. L’acclimatation est très rapide quant à son utilisation et facile. Aucune manipulation à faire sur l’ordinateur, l’installation est automatique. En 48h, j’ai ressenti les bénéfices sur mon coude et épaule . Recommandation de mon ostéopathe, je suis ravie.

Soy diestra. Pero por motivos de salud he tenido que adaptarme a usar la mano izquierda. Con este ratón ha sido muy fácil y cómodo. Puedo decir que domino el ratón con la izquierda con gran precisión. Funciona estupendamente y su diseño ergonómico es sencillamente perfecto. A mi me ha ido genial con él. Recomendable para los que quieran ser ambidiestros;)
