White Kitchen Tap, Hapilife Contemporary Matt White Kitchen Sink Tap Swivel Spout Monobloc Mixer Tap for Kitchen Sink 1 Hole, DT03F

I needed a replacement kitchen tap due to the old one being totally beyond fixing. This one looks pretty good in the photos, even better in reality. It's well made, solid, heavy and the tap mechanisms (this one has ceramic cartridges) are very smooth. The water aerator works really well, almost too well (when making a drink) - but on the plus side, water doesn't splash all over the place when it hits the bottom of the sink, and of course, aerated taps are more economical if you're on a water meter. The pipes supplied have standard connectors, which will be fine unless like me your kitchen was originally constructed as a hotch potch of items gathered stig-of-the-dump style by a mad woman with too many cats and plants. So, I needed a bit of brassware from the local hardware shop to get back in the game - if you have standard fittings like 99% of people, you'll be fine, undo your old pipes and stick these on in their place. As you would expect, the hot pipe connection is beneath the hot tap, and the cold pipe connection beneath the cold. Hopefully that'll save someone a bit of trial and error. You can't see very well from the photos, but there is a red stripe on the hot tap and a blue on the cold. The hot tap is on the left and the cold on the right (there's a small hole on the back of the unit, which lets the air in which you can't see in the photo). The instructions are simple, if a little brief - but clear. It's really easy to see what you need to do and the job was completed easily and without a fuss. You need a flat head screwdriver to tighten the screw under the tap, and an adjustable spanner to tighten the nut under the sink will be needed too. Extremely good value item for the price, looks and operates like a much more expensive tap, for sure.

Really nice tap for the money, love the high curve of the tap, easier to get things such as vases and watering can under it for filling. Seems to be good quality and looks really good, got a white one to match my white sink and draining board.

We needed a replacement tap quickly. This mixer fitted the need for a cost effective replacement. Fitted onto a stainless sink it looks the part and has smooth action. At this price bracket the quality is good. The only issue is that it is a bit wobbly due to the small 'footprint, of its base, if fitting again i would add a large metal plate underneath to stiffen up the actual sink at the mounting point. Overall it is elegant and functional, controls the flow correctly, don't know about the long term but what's not to like as long as you don't expect a Rolls Royce for the price of a mini....

Perfect, easy to fit. Doesn't leak, looks great. Fantastic flow rate makes a big difference to how much water we use.

I have given this 5 stars based on value for money and easy to fit. As others have commented it is cheap and cheerful but still looks good. The flexi hoses supplied with the tap make it very easy to fit, although because of my existing plumbing the cold hose was a tight fit. I also had the benefit that I had isolation valves on both hot and cold supplies. The tap supplied had a different fitting to secure to the sink, it had a full collar and large nut to tighten it up rather than horseshoe type with bolt and back nut. This made tightening a little bit more difficult. All in all it took around an hour to fit which I felt was good going for a 67 year old DIY'er. The only real downsides that I have noticed are that the spout moves a little bit more than expected but doesn't leak, and one of the tap handles looks slightly bent but doesn't detract from the overall look of the tap.

Great quality. Has lasted a good few months and looks brand new. Cleans well.

To be honest I was sceptical about all the quality comparisons to cheaper taps that look the same. I have bought 3 similar looking taps over the years and all have gone in the same way. Drip drip drip and no way to remove the ceramic washers. Their claims on quality are 100% accurate. Taking the old one off and comparing side by side it’s light “night and day” so much weight to this tap, even the connection pipes supplied are made better. This was twice the price of the last ones I bought but here’s hoping this lasts so much longer. Much easier to fit too no leaks and looks far better. The flow is great too. Don’t look at another tap and don’t be tempted “tight” like me and get one for £15. They simply do not last. Great product Dripping after 18 months and no idea how to fix. Emailed company and also posted question on Amazon . No response

Esperaba algo de arrepentirse... y nada mas lejos Me encanta el sistema de abrir y cerrar el paso del agua!!!! Mucho más cómodo que todo lo que he probado Facilísimo de abrir o cerrar incluso con un codo o lo que sea. Genial Y encima hasta da sensación de que no es malo. Mas bien lo contrario. Además el diseño, puesto, se ve genial

Fenomenal el grifo es muy bonito y pasa de ser mono mando a tener ambos grifos a xanad lado. En relación calidad precio muy bueno

La base es más pequeña de lo normal, 42mm. Para aprovechar el grifo me fabrique un adaptador. A los 16 meses de uso ya gotea.
