Essential for treadmill training
I've had my Pace pod for just over a year now and used it for almost every single run. The instant pace data is very useful for training and if you're a treadmill runner serious about tracking your runs then I would consider this an essential buy. Having accurate distance data on a treadmill is invaluable. I find that the accuracy is almost spot on every time and it's incredibly useful for pacing during races. Overall a quality device. Battery life is strong. I run ~40 miles per week and charge it maybe every other week. The dock also holds its own charge and I charge that maybe every month. Really convenient battery life. Connectivity is good most of the time, but if you pause a run for too long it seems to act strange when you unpause and I've never been able to figure out why. I don't pause often so its never been a deal breaker, but if you do take stops then you might have to reset the activity to get the tracking back.

Works great for tempo and pace-sensitive workouts!
I have really enjoyed this actually. I waited forever for it to come back in stock as refurbished on COROS's site, but after several months I just got it here because it never came back and this had same day shipping. It's worked great and held up well. Helps me monitor my pace nearly instantaneously!

Very good. No longer much use after watch update
Very good sense of for a distance runner. Make sure it's installed on your body exactly the way they recommend. It must be right in the middle of the body axle, meaning right on the spine. Otherwise it will show incorrect readings of the right and left foot balance. Only downside is that after the most recent chorus update it's used is only for one feature. The watch is taking all other measurements. So if you are fan article about right/left balance, it's for you.

Great Addition for Coros Watches
I really like the additional running information that the Pod provides. I have balanced my left/right differences and have a better stride using the information from the POD; I have boosted my pace times and (subjectively) feel less pain/fatigue. I had the original POD (I accidentally washed it), and the POD 2 is smaller, lighter, rechargeable, and has a better case - all great improvements. In short, if you really want metrics to improve your running form, this is an essential piece of gear.

Overall great, elevation is off.
Great, but the elevation is way off. (Gave me a 600 feet elevation on a 10 mile track run).

Accurate, pricey
While I think the pod is too expensive to justify for most people, it has helped me receive more accurate and faster updating pace information to my older Pace 2 watch which greatly helps me for interval training.

Great product! Calibration recommended before first use
Great product! As convenient for use as can be. I never thought it would be so simple and quick to use. Just one recommendation: Always calibrate before starting to use it. Happened to me just once that I wore the POD 2 on my shoe, but it thought it was worn on the waist and gave the wrong set of data (which of course was all over). All I needed to get this fixed was manual calibration (using the instructions on the watch, just turning it around vertically and horizontally). Precision became better with time, after 2 weeks of use it became very accurate. Battery life is great, I haven't needed to charge it even once after 2 weeks of ~1 daily hour of running.
