This style of frying pan is the best there is that uses copper plating; instead of other copper plated pans, this one has the copper on the underside and not the inside area of the pan, so there's no need to worry about the plating scratching off whilst you cook or scrub it clean. We only hand-wash these pans, and hardly need to use oil (we use only one spray of frylight) since the pans inside is smooth and doesn't stick. The handle is made with a silicone like rubber, so it resists heat. The pan itself heats up quickly and retains its temperature, so it doesn't require you to keep it on a high temperature...this is excellent for families that have people who are known to damage pans by having the temperature too high; ours has been abused by high temperatures and it still looks and cooks like it just came out of the factory. My grandmother loved our frying pan so much that I bought her one as well. These really are the best copper-plated pans on the market, and I will most certainly be buying more should the need arise in the future.

Extremely good pans got the full range now

I was gifted an amazingly lovely pan by my son. It is a lovely thing, has a lid, and I make most things requiring a meat, veg, sauce in it. It was very expensive. Alas, it is a pain to cook eggs in! So, a bacon and egg pan that didn’t cause a meltdown was essential. I’m still reserving full judgement on this coppery pan. Yes, it is easy to clean, and yes, it does do eggs ok. Meaty things, I really have to watch, it seems to want to burn them, salmon darnes, didn’t look right! So far I’m only using it for sausages ( very carefully) and fried eggs, which I like to do with a cover, so have to improvise. It was reasonably priced, so I’m ok with using it for such a few things. I’m still using my fancy pan for nearly everything else. Durability, no idea, haven’t had it long enough. Oh, and it is light enough for me to handle without being silly light, and handle is comfortable. Yes, good as an extra pan! 4 stars.

This pan has literally changed my cooking life! I am following a diet that requires me to use only a low calorie oil spray to cook and I was getting very frustrated with my previous pans and all of my food sticking to it. This pan means that I can cook absolutely anything, including things that need caramelising, and nothing sticks to it. I have not had to soak this pan once and even a gentle clean removes everything in one easy move. I have even cooked a fried egg with no oil at all and it slid straight out of the pan. Everything cooks evenly and more quickly too! I did follow the instructions to season it before using but have not done anything else to keep it in tip top condition. This pan is definitely my best buy of the year!!! Buy it now!!

Absolutely love this pan and wish I had bought one sooner! I followed the washing/care instructions and the pan has remained completely non-stick. It has a nice weight to it, isn't flimsy like some pans and sits nicely on the hob. The handle is really comfy to use when you need to move the pan/remove from the hob. So much easier to clean than any other pan I have owned, I don't have to leave it soak for ages like with other pans. Everything wipes out really easily with a kitchen sponge. I wanted to try the pan first before committing to purchasing the lid for it, but I'm definitely going to order the lid now along with the smaller version of this pan too. Would definitely recommend it!

I have already had the smaller size pan for quite some time and have found it to be exactly what I hoped. With that experience I bought the larger size. First of all I would say it is extremely important to season the pan as stated in the instructions, but that is the case with many pans. I have had no problems at all with sticking. I've cooked many things in it and they have all been perfect without any oil or fat at all (fried eggs, pancakes, omelettes, bacon, sausages etc). The other benefit is that it cooks evenly across the full surface of the pan. That helps someone like me who is culinary challenged and needs all the help they can get. I would definitely recommend this item, but I would add that it is slightly heavy which may be a problem for some.
