What a great piece of kit got this to do the gutters and ended up cleaning all the drain pipes two couldn’t believe the results

Never knew these existed until I was searching for a solution to unblock the waste pipe between the kitchen sink/dishwasher and the outside inspection hole; about 8 meter run. This worked out cheaper than a 15m hose plus it came with the gutter attachment. No brainer really but I thought the gutter thing would be a gimmick and any way probably wouldnt fit my Greek guttering. With my K2 pressure washer (the baby of the range) I managed to clear a solid block of hard lard type material from the middle of the pipe and get it all flowing sweet again so paid for itself right there! Thought I'd give the gutters a go as they get jammed solid with the needles from the over-hanging Pine trees. It's so long since I last tried to clear what I can reach they were like window boxes ready for planting. This was always going to be a gamble because of the aluminium gutter's decorative profile and the fact there are supporting ribs across the top that the shuttle needs to pass under. I could just lever the shuttle in at one end and slowly worked it along the gutters. To my amazment it worked and I only had to restep the ladder and clear any blockages that got pushed ahead and jammed under one or two of the support ribs. With the needles, sludge and rubble blasted out, the shuttle easily passed back and forth and for the first time ever I have clear gutters. Bit of advice. You should seriously consider face protection or at least eye protection and although possible on your own it is much easier with two people. I was suprised and impressed with this cleaning kit; it definitely beats working along the gutter inch by inch with a stick and a brush. From now on I should be able to do the whole lot from two easily reached access points.

Good device but incredibly hard to unravel. It tries to bind itself up when being used. Got the job done but spent half the time untangling it.

Fantastic, recently had some issues with our drains blocking, causing the gulley's to back up with waste, for the price of a call out, i decided to take a punt with this, and pleased to say this has worked a treat. Initially checking the main shared chamber was clear, it was obvious the blockage was on our property, attempts to use 9m rods were unsuccessful due to how far down the blockage was. In came the pressure washer attachment, with the use of a 32mm x 2m pipe to feed down into the chamber & the K4 compact, i was able to successfully get the line into our junction and started feeding the line down the pipe allowing it to pull with the jets pushing back. After a few meters i encountered some resistance, a little push and pull motion and the line started to move again, a a minute or so later the most disgusting smell emerged from the chamber, followed by a stream of vile muck which came barrelling out, i kept working the line back and forth until i reached the rear of the property and slowly removed the line, at which point the water was running clear. No damage to the line so the durability is good, much like that of the pressure washer hose itself, not much weight to the item, can be a little awkward to use whilst trying to keep the pressure washer firing, i opted for the 20m to give myself more than enough length for the job, and for others to borrow in future if required. Overall very happy with the purchase, and happier knowing that i've been able to do it myself.

Firstly, as some other reviewers have said, the gutter cleaning attachment is useless. It is too big for modern UK gutters. I can only imagine it would work on guttering with leaves in as it is also too light to plough through the moss in my gutters. That is fairly pointless as leaves tend to clear themselves. The hose is not very flexible so by itself doesn't lie in the gutter. So I inserted it into a length of 22mm copper pipe, fixing it with a washer at one end and a small jubilee clip at the other. This gave it enough weight to lie flat in the gutter. Like this I was able to send it down 20ft of guttering, pushing it along as it only partly drove itself and pulling it back. This properly cleared the soil and moss accumulation, even under the tiles. Lay out the hose first for a few hours to straighten it as out of the box it is very tightly coiled.

A Purchase worth every penny! I had a blocked up loo and after getting quotes, I wasn't going to pay £150 for someone to unblock it! So I went and purchased this kit and after a little bit of practice, resolved my problem with little stress. Not only did it help resolve the problem, it cleaned my loo and the drainage further down too! I've used this tool for all my pipework now, including the drainage behind the washing machine and tumble dryer! What can I say? It's now sitting in its box ready for summer to come so I can go and do the drainage outside too! Great product and shockingly useful for more than 1 function!

The hose is made from a very rigid plastic, this makes it almost useless. This hose can’t be unwound and laid in a straight line or even loosely coiled on the ground. It has a memory and always wants to be in a coil. It will even kink in a 100mm soil pipe. I would not recommend using this at all. If you have ever used a karcher pressure washer then you will know that the hose from the unit to the lance is notoriously difficult and constantly coils up on itself, well this hose is made of the same material. I would suggest searching for a rubber hosed version and avoid this. Furthermore, the product arrived in Amazon external packaging but the Karcher box was ripped and unsealed. (Not that this had any detrimental effect on the use of the product) but one expects it to look new and unused.

I didn’t buy this to do gutters so I cannot comment on its use. I bought this to unblock a drain which was proving very stubborn. It worked within about 10 seconds. How have I managed all my life without this? I reckon that it has paid for itself already. Brilliant piece of kit, usual Karcher quality. Get one!

Produit acheté afin de nettoyer mes gouttières passablement obstruées par des feuilles mortes et des résidus de toile. Sorti de boîte, la mise en œuvre est rapide et plutôt simple. J'ai pu adapter les buses pour mon petit K2, et c'est parti. La mise ne œuvre est simple. Pensez à bien dérouler le flexible qui est très long, et risque des pincements voire coudes pouvant empêcher un écoulement normal de l'eau sous pression. La buse de nettoyage suit très facilement la gouttière, et la pression permet de la faire glisser efficacement même lorsque la boue de tuile tapisse le fond. J'ai nettoyé ma première gouttière en 2 passages, l'un pour enlever les gros débris, et le deuxième pour finir le job. Le résultat est bluffant ! C'est propre et extrêmement net. Et surtout, le recours à cette solution en comparaison d'un travail à la main m'a fait économiser une bonne heure de labeur, de multiples positionnements d'échelle et autres corvées. Le service attendu est vraiment au rendez vous !
