I had this blockage in my kitchen sink it got so bad that once when I used my washing machine the sink overflowed as the washing machine was pumping out the water. I tried drainblocker it got it flowing but not the way I knew it should be. So I thought I would give this ago! I read the instructions pumped it up & fired down the sink hole man the gunge that came out was black & smelly splatterd all over the place I wasn't expecting this anyhow I cleaned up the place & the water was beginning to drain quickly I blasted it again hey presto the sink was unblocked & everything was working as it used to no need to call out a plumber this sloves the blockage I also blasted the bathroom sink & that too runs smoothly my housing association were going to charge me £35. if I called them out so I opted out of that glad I did! I purchased this tool & the sink was back n operation just like before. If you are using this for the 1st time like me make some sort of cover to catch the smelly gunge it throws back at you. It's saves on the cleaning process use some polythene etc. This gun is a money saver believe! Blast away & clear them clogged waste pipes Buy it you won't regret it that's for sure. Very dissapointed with this pipe cleaner. very poor design around the trigger pivot. The trigger broke off at the pivot point after two squeezes. so i had to trigger by using my finger to press the release button I have glued back the flimsy trigger pivot holder . The safety release rubber and film at the rear of the gun also fell into the gun causing it to loose pressure and not pump up.very annoying i had to take it apart to repair that as well.

I buy products from amazon practically every other day and have never written a review. I felt compelled on this one. This is a great product. The instructions were pretty pants . I had to watch a you tube video In German to work it out and almost sent it back. But once I did it totally did the job of unblocking a slow draining shower. Essentially you pump it up first and it build up about 4 bar pressure. You then place the the unit over your blocked plug and press the trigger. Boom cleared plug hole. It took a couple of goes but that’s it. Definetly worth keeping in the house. Haven’t tried on sinks or loos but it has the attachments for that too. There are cheaper versions available on amazon but not sure how good they are. I went for German engineering vosrprun Durcht Technik and all of that... got 4 stars in easy to use because of instructions and 4 stars because of cheaper products but overall a 5 star product.

Dont think its perfect but it bloody works! Took about 10 goes to unblock the toilet to the new house(last owners must have left a massive turd!) but it got it unblocked and now the toilet works perfect and I didnt have to shove a snake down it which I think is disgusting!

I never used mine, after I purchased it I mentioned to the father in law who already has one (identical), so while awaiting delivery I borrowed it. To sort my slow flowing bath drain. I primed the gun, placed on a rubber and positioned it over the plug hole. I pulled the trigger and it blasted lots of crud out the over flow, this I was expecting, so I filled the bath tub to an inch or two and let the water flow, it was still slow, so I read more reviews saying one shots not enough it may take several, I primed the gun again and pulled the trigger again more comes out the overflow…. I thought I’d give it a couple more shots for good measure and more left the overflow. I then proceeded to fill the tub a little again to watch the water flow away and it did! The only problem being all the water had run out the bath waste straight into the void between my bathroom floor and dining room. And the blockage it packed further along the waste pipe under the bathroom floor. With no access and a ruined ceiling and wet dining room I have now purchased a drain snake and endoscopic camera in the hope I can can probe the blockage into the main soil pipe. I have now had to hire a dehumidifier and drill several holes into my ceiling to drain the water. Then I’ll have to treat and repair the ceiling before repainting it. Lesson learned here is just because it’s easy and everyone else was lucky doesn’t mean you will be, my bathroom is only a couple of years old, and all waste pipe back to the soil were replaced, the problem being modern fitted pipes are push fit…. And with an air tight blockage the the pressure had to find somewhere to escape! So I’m sure these can be great assuming you have bonded pipes and they are in good condition. If not try something manual first like a drain snake as I would wish this disaster on anyone else. I have returned my one unused as it’s identical make model as the father in laws, just to confirm he was positive about it, and said it cleared his kitchen sink and toilet several times with out fuss. I think the product and the concept is great but you need to be aware of the conditions of your pipes first as it could become a disaster.

Sooooo easy to use, just pump it up till you can't anymore and pop the trigger where a WHOOOOOOSH of air blasts into to plug hole!!!!! Cleared the sink INSTANTLY. What a god send. Do not doubt you will use this useful bit of kit over and over and the best thing is....theres no digital or electronic bits to go wrong. It is simplicity itself, supremely efficient and a heck of a lot cheaper than calling out an emergency plumber! Mine has already paid for itself. 5*

Not the best expected better especially due to the maker

Excellent product. To cut a long story short - father in law took out the whole plug and the drain got partially blocked by a child's finger toy. Water drained but overtime got slower and slower. Took off the u-bend and all was clear so I stumbled on this. First attempt wasn't successful as I used it dry - much better second time when there was a small amount of water in the tub. As others have said, cover the overflow as muck will shoot out of these openings. A great buy and I'm sure it will come in useful again in the future.
