Perfect starter books for a 5 year old

Presented to 4 year old grandson who absolutely loves the variety of the 5 separate stories. It is a nightly bedtime story read now.

My little guy can’t get enough of Spider-Man. These books are the best investment as he wants to sit and ready everyday!!!

Spiderman is my grandsons favorite super hero. He loves these books.

Bought these as a gift and they loved it!

My 28 month old son loves when I read these to him. The only problem is with the Superman books. They are illegible because of the font. Whoever chose the font must not have thought maybe someone would want to actually read it because it's nearly impossible to make out the words... Still, all the other books are short and exciting and fun to read one after another. I decided to buy more Little Golden Books based on how much my son likes these.

So, they're very simple stories, but they're nicely drawn, far better than most of the other efforts for kids that I found. I got them as a present for a toddler and he has been quite taken with them. Id very happily get other books/sets in the same series.

These have been a stable for my little web-head at bedtime. Great books!

I have noticed lately that my grandson (4 years old) is a fan of Spiderman, he has a Spiderman hat and water bottle. I decided to buy this set for him. He made me read all of them to him when he visited and then took it home and had his dad reread them to him. My son says he just loves them.
