This works great! I have used it to clone two SSD drives, including my boot drive. I have an extra SATA drive plugged into it most of the time and use it as off-line back-up of my important files. Product is small and stays cool and quiet. The cloning processes can be a little tricky but once I figured out that after holding the button down until the blue light comes on, I had to let it go then press it again to start—all was good! I later found the directions in the bottom of the box, so my bad for not finding/reading them first. Oh, and the USB 3.0 connection is much faster than I expected after reading other reviews. I backed up 4 TB of data in about 4 hours.

Very simple to use. My WD external hard drive stopped being recognized on my computer. Watched some YouTube videos…. Disassembled it to isolate the hard drive from its casing and stuck it in the new Sata drive and was able to access all my data! Yay!

It works great, however to start a clone is a little difficult. It's a combination of things before get it to start. You begin with two oorange disc lights then press an hold the clone button for three seconds, release it and then a blue light appears quickly, then you hit the clone button again two or three times for it to start. Could have been much simplier.

I have only used it for a Linux based system so far. It has worked flawlessly. Do not remove drives when powered. Have not done that but the drive sockets themselves are not designed for hot swap. When cloning, wait for all lights to stop flashing.

Received this product, was expecting something midline, but it functions wonderfully. It's entirely plug and play (as expected of this kind of device). It connects quickly, my system picks up inserted HDD's and SSD"s quickly, and to top it all off, if you are just planning to clone a drive, you can just use the device itself, no PC's required. Master drive in slot one, backup drive in slot 2, click a button, wait. It will do it all for you. Highly recommend.

Ce dock est très bien. Je l'utilise avec un disque dur de 6To En plus le bouton marche est mécanique. Beaucoup mieux que les boutons électroniques qui m'ont posés problèmes sur un dock précédent.
