I bought another packet so l can put them in my back garden .good luck to you **Q: Can i sow them in march in the pot ?** A: Yes **Q: Hi, do these plants come back year after year?** A: I find that all my dahlias come up for years..sometimes I pick seedheads and set them to get even more plants. You can also take cuttings from the roots. I dig mine up in winter to keep them frost free. But sometimes leave a few in.....they usually flower again. **Q: if i planted them early novemeber when would i expec them to bloom?** A: Don't normally plant dahlias in November, they are normally planted in February/Spring to flower in summer of the same year. My success this year was phenomenal, so I'm buying them again. Most of them have come up pink, not other shades of red and orange as on the seed packet. I'm attaching some photos, so you can see what they look like in my garden.A word of warning, though: protect them from slugs and snails. If you don't, your young plants may get devoured overnight with nothing left. I lost quite a few of my plants this way. Even the mature plants are a desirable meal for snails.I've read another reviewer's warning that the packets currently sold on Amazon are not genuine Suttons seeds but fakes, with imitation seed packets and inferior quality. Obviously the ones I had last year were the real thing, and I was pleased.
