Lumipets Penguin Squishy Night Light for Kids, Silicone Lamp with Remote

This is a wonderful product. I have used another of these in my office for over 6 months. The charge lasts well. It is easy to recharge, and I love the remote control and cordless design.

Pros: Works great! My son loves it and now he can’t sleep without it. Best part is we can control the brightness and colors. Cons: wish we somehow know when it needs to be charge. We have to charge every 2 days even if it still lights up but just to be sure it stay on all night without turn off in the middle of the night.

Love the little light pets. Small functional and great use for a nursing light. Love how easy it is to use and love the brightness settings.

I bought this for my autistic 3-year-old who's a little afraid of the dark. I think it's great. It's soft and I love the fact that you can change the brightness level of the light. He loves it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because even though the remote worked perfectly when we got it pretty quickly, a few of the buttons kind of started glitching out. For example, the power button will turn it off, but it will not turn it on anymore. I have to use the physical button on the actual toy to turn the light on. Once it's on though the rest of the buttons work and I can turn it off with the remote. Also, I'm not sure if this is user error or not, but without the remote I can't seem to get it to stay on a certain color. You're supposed to be able to cycle through the different colors and then you can kind of like bop on the top to get it to switch colors. But if I try to lock it on red without the remote, it just starts cycling through the colors on its own without being on that setting. If that makes sense. I have to turn it on with the button on the toy, then use the remote to select red and dim the light, and then go back to the toy to hit the button to lock it. In that setting. All of these things aren't a huge beauty deal and some of it could be user error. Maybe I'm not fully understanding the settings. Also none of this would stop me from buying it again, but just be aware. Make sure you keep a hold of the remote because if I lost it I wouldn't be able to dim the light or lock it on red which is the color he wants.

I love this light! I have a two-month-old baby, and when he was born, I gave into that egg light craze to see him at night… let me tell you, it was the worst. BUT THIS LIGHT IS AMAZING! It will light up the room if I need it, and it has different colors, like the soothing red light that keeps babies asleep. I'm able to see my son at night, so I'm less worried. I highly recommend it for new moms and for kids' night lights. Seriously, just buy it.

Installation has been made easy to use. When placing the lamp to any surface such a desk or table. The led remote is simply wonderful. All the colors are very bright.Even when changing to different colors. The penguin lamps are true to size. Touch control of the penguin lamps are soft.

We love this so much we bought a second one! My son uses it every night as his nightlight. We now also put one in my daughters room as a nightlight. They are soft, hold a charge for over 24 hours and are durable. Be careful with the charging cord. We did have to purchase a replacement when my son got the cord stuck and bent in the back of the lumipet. I think he accidentally bent it, so if an adult is handling the charging and plugging in/out it should be fine.
