Review: Great Grill and Griddle - I initially purchased a different make of one of these from desertcart which I had to return due to its poor performance. Still waiting for a refund from the seller however, but desertcart are on it. Because I wanted a portable indoor grill/griddle, I then decided - after reading the reviews - that maybe this GF could fit the bill. It arrived quickly, and was well packaged. It does a great job of grilling, and the useful feature of being able to operate the griddle separately was what did it for me. Heats up very quickly, is not smokey in use, has good heat controls, and is mega easy to clean after use. Residual heat helps keep cooked food warm until served. Ticked all the boxes for me. The large plate capacity is great for cooking lots of things at once. Should have got this in the first place really. Very happy with its performance so far.

**Q: Can this be used as a trouser press for an action man?**
A: It is possible to press Action Man trousers, however seeing as he is a combat soldier and trees don't have creases, there is no requirement.

**Q: can the grill plates be removed for cleaning such as in the dishwasher?**
A: Iif you was them straight away they clean up verywell

**Q: How can you cook the top of a fried egg in this as surely would break the egg if you tried to flip it? Worried he egg would be undercooked**
A: Actually haven't tried to flip an egg, just cook it slowly and it cooks perfectly right through. I should imagine if you wanted to, you wouldn't have a problem though.

**Q: Can I use this to make Paninis? Or better to buy a different machine?**
A: Ive not used thus but my guess would be panini needs a press so extending hinge. If this is just a hinge then there is no "press". Maybe do panini 50% then turn around?

Bought this to replace our existing grill which had served us for many years. The grill itself is slightly smaller than the one before but works fine. The hotplate is great for eggs and warming rolls.
