How do these cope with being washed in the machine? Do they unravel and come apart or are they ok to be machine washed?

The cloth is stitched by overlocking machine in order that the cloth be kept new at the edges.

I just put mine in the washing machine, but some people hand wash them with Fairy Liquid.
