There is nothing like it in this universe. I recommend all mankind to read it, for the following reason: Imagine someone who's claiming to have created the universe, and created you both for special purposes, and wants to inform you of them, so that you are guided in your life in this universe, and better, your guidance leads you to an ultimate special abode in your next life - say you are skeptical - say you don't believe all that - say you are of a different persuasion or religion - say you couldn't care less of religions - but and this is a big but; Don't you at least want to find out? Don't you at least want to see what 'GOD' wants to say to you? Well, if you believe in reason, discussion and tolerance, I believe you will be interested in what the Quran (the literal words of the Creator) has to say about the universe, nature, life, and after life. Pick up one today, for as a small price as; £2-£5. I am sure you spend more than that on non-sense everyday. This 'believe me' will the most sensical spending you will ever do in your life, and don't even thank me, but I am sure you will thank yourself for reading this book.

Islam is the most misunderstood and misrepresented religion in the Western world. In order to have a clearer understanding of this important religion, and to dispel the myths that surround it, one must go to the source and read the Holy Qur'an for oneself. I cannot read the original Arabic but feel assured that this beautiful translation is as close to it as English can be. No, not an easy read but one worthy of the effort in order to reach an understanding of the broad-sweeping beauty of Islam and its clear message of love, compassion, righteous deeds, self-control, firmness, justice and patience. Highly recommended for those wishing to come from a place of Truth and understanding.

I had heard that all of the vile attrocities carried out by Islamic State were either previously carried out by the prophet mohammed himself or ordered by the Quran. Surely no major religion could be that vile? So I bought me a copy of the Quran to see for myself what it was all about. Wow, this book has it all, repeated commands to slaughter non Muslims, repeated statements of Jew hatred, condoning of wife beating, honour killing, sexual intercourse with prepubescent girls and even the enslavement and rape of non Muslim girls and women. Pure hate speech from start to finnish. The most shocking book you will ever read. It will however help explain what is happening in the world. If you think that Islam is "The Religion of Peace" then you really need to read this book.

Great for people who want to read in English, fascinating.

Not an easy read, but you can get the gist of it if you try. It's difficult to translate to English so I guess that's why it doesn't flow very well. I got this out of interest due to hearing and reading controversial things about it. So far it seems a very peaceful religion, nothing like the satire I've read on Facebook.

A very wholesome translation of the Quran with a good amount of context provided. Many people have said this is the best translation of the holy Quran they have come across.

I bought this holy Quran for my friend who just converted to Islam , I read some of it and I'm very happy how its explaining the meaning as well

i wanted to read this book as a Christian to see if it differs much from the Bible, NOT really! find the Bible easier to follow, but still this book was interesting to read, and to see a different intrepretation. Full Translation into English from Arabic. good book, good price
