Excellent product
This works exactly as you would expect. It is cheaper than most and mine has been working for a couple of months now without problem. It fitted onto a standard Honeywell valve just replacing the old actuator. Just changing the head means you do not have to interfere with the water pipes at all and makes it a relatively easy job. Just put the two actuators to the manual position before changing so the valve stem is in the correct position relative to the actuator when fitting. If you do have a problem with a valve actuator and it is on the heating you can leave it in the open position which means you get heating when your water is on but that is not a serious problem in the winter till you can get a new actuator. The timer controls will still control the boiler coming on and off.

Fully compatible with 'industry standard brand' as stated, well-designed, great product
I swapped out (yet another!) dead 'Honeybad' valve with no problems whatsoever. Functions well. Looks like it will last as well as, if not longer, than the original. It is physically and electrically compatible with the 'Honeybad' product (the cheap gear mechanism is what usually fails in those - terrible design IMO). Note: get a qualified electrician to do the job! Buy hey... tips: **** Note: Do this at your own risk - get a qualified Electrician to install, check etc. !!!! SAFETY: ALL POWER OFF FIRST!!! Swap out the old for new, matching colour coding of wires. Take a picture first, to show original wiring! If the connection point has poor access, or is just crammed with other wiring, consider adding a 'flying lead' box to ease changing over valves: - The lead on old, inoperative valve was cut near the valve, stripped, and rewired into a... - Honeyw*ll terminal box (2 x 6way terminal blocks - so enough for 2nd valve when it fails!) - The new valve was then wired into the terminal box, like-wire to like-wire. This leaves the original, more complex wiring box, untouched. This is especially advisable if you have several zone values in addition to a hotwater valve. On a previous failure, the original terminals were crammed on my system and it was very difficult to remove individual wires and then try and insert new ones, whilst keeping other wires in place! **** Reminder: Do this at your own risk - get a qualified Electrician to install, check etc. !!!! :) Other tips: I found no problems - but do DOUBLE-check the connections - including INSIDE the valve - especially the Earth!! Don't cover the valves - they get hot as it is. Use minimum force to manually operate the valves - that mechanism is the weakest part of the design (both old and new)! Enjoy!

Works well and easy installation
installed straightforward to replace the honeywell original one. Works well so far. But will update review on how long it can last!

Straight replacement and does the job.
Bought this to replace a Honeywell one which packed up, thinking this was actually a Honeywell one because the advert states, Brand- Honeywell! To be clear, it's not made by Honeywell but it is an exact copy and a direct replacement, marketed by a firm in Manchester (but undoubtedly made in China) with the same coloured and number of, wires, so replacement is quite straightforward, following the very simple instructions included and working logically. I also watched a few YouTube videos, whilst waiting for it to arrive, just to understand how they work. As it was new territory to me, a friend installed it whilst I watched but I would confidently do it myself next time. Under Prime, it arrived the following day. Having extracted the old one we tested the motor and it was the problem, it was as dead as a dodo, so I could have saved a few quid by just replacing that. They are about a tenner but this whole unit was only £26, so I won't lose any sleep about it. Genuine Honeywell ones are about twice the price and whether this brand lasts as long, only time will tell, but so far, so good.

Works, but not out of the box - only after a manual 'fix'
This was the second of these units I tried. Out of the box neither of them worked. The actuator arm does not contact the microswitch when in the manual open position. Hence the first was returned. When the second unit had the same problem I bent the end of the actuator arm so that it hits the switch and it's now installed and working. Even although this is about the cheapest one of these on Amazon it feels just as well made as the genuine Honeywell one, which had failed anyway.

Motorised valve Failed after less than a Week
Purchased last year and fitted last week for the swimming pool opening. Since my electrician fitted the Honeywell Motorised Valve replacement it only operated for 3 days before failing. The brass pinion has deformed, resulting in the valve not fully opening, thereby not actuating the micro switch to power the boiler circulation pump. Very slow actuation and the return spring appears to be too strong for the motor - (significantly stronger than the Honeywell MV it replaced) - causing the toothed rack to spin the motor furiously and only stopping when the brass pinion hit the stop - resulting in the deformation of the pinion. The Honeywell MV worked faultlessly for17 years before failing. Tried ringing TEAM-SUPPLIES to discuss before posting, but without success. Will be returning the MV for a fulll refund.

Works well and a good replacement for a Honeywell
We got this to replace a Honeywell valve, it turns out that the original motor was probably still working and it was the valve that was jammed. We got the valve working again with a bit of a wiggle and some WD40 but put the new motor on anyway. My friend who is a sparky wired it in for me as it all looked a bit daunting in the terminal box with two heating zones plus hot water it was getting a bit cramped in there! All has been working fine since and it is significantly cheaper than the branded equivalent.
