Are the RB3 instruments compatible with RB4? (Given game&controllers are both Microsoft, or both Sony)

You will have to buy a $20 adapter to use wireless Xbox 360 instruments on an Xbox One. If you have older instruments for Playstation 3 with the wireless USB adapter, they will still work through that adapter. Don't like half the songs on rb4 where do i get more songs?
