Papo DINOSAURS 55062 Acrocanthosaurus Figurine, multicolour

Beautifully finished and part of my son's collection of Papo "realistic" dinosaurs. But don't drop them from to high as you may end up with a broken part as the plastic is not soft but relatively hard... This is a good point not a bad one as they really feel well made and more for collecting than play.

Decently sized and one of the best paint jobs on any dinosaur figure.

Very good figure. Amazing detals and colours. Interesting posture and solid model.

I must admit to being slightly disappointed with my model. The colours along the back and spine are glossy rather than matt like in the photograph. Perhaps I just got a bad copy. Otherwise marvellous. *Since I wrote this review, I notice the colour scheme in the pictures has changed/ I like the new look. May buy again.

Buen producto

Nachdem ich den Schleich Acrocanthosaurus für mein Patenkind gekauft hatte, musste natürlich auch der von Papo für uns persönlich her. Und ich muss sagen: Hier ist mal wieder ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Ist der Dino von Schleich doch sehr einfach und plump gestaltet, strotzt der Papo Acro vor Agilität und Detailverliebtheit. Alles ist super verarbeitet. Die Haltung wirkt, als ob er gerade auf der Jagd wäre, oder er sich über sein Opfer beugt um es zu fressen. So kommt leider nicht seine wirkliche Höhe zur Geltung, was aber egal ist. Was bei Papo immer besonders auffällt ist die geniale Gestaltung des Kopfes allgemein. Besonders die einzelnen spitzen Zähne sind mehr als genial. Bei Schleich, wenn überhaupt einzeln gestaltet, sind das immer kleine runde Knubbel, oder flache unrunde Platten. Im Gegensatz zum Schleich hat der Acro auch einen richtigen Gaumen mit super detailliert gestalteten Rachen. Die Krallen an Händen und Füssen sind auch viel detaillierter gestaltet als beim Schleich. Auch die Haut ist wesentlich besser als die vom Schleich, die ja nur zerfurcht ist. Einziges Manko ist die doch sehr glänzende farbliche Bemalung des Rückenkammes. Dafür ziehe ich jedoch keinen Stern ab, da der Dino ansonsten über jeden Zweifel erhaben ist. Fazit: Vielleicht sollte sich Schleich mal ein paar Tipps bei Papo holen, wie man Dinos fantastisch und lebendig gestalten kann. In diesem Sinne: Frohe Weihnachten!!
