I read about these items in Pinterest, and found similar items on Amazon. Wanting to purchase, I chose this set so I could learn how to be more creative in making cupcakes/decorating cakes. Pros: the case keeps the products in order and the piping tips are numbered with an enclosed picture of the tip number and its design. There are enough clear piping bags for usage, and the bags are sturdy. Cons: the instructions to use the blue plastic piping bag and the plastic tips were very unclear, so I tried to work with constructing on use, but put both items away after trying "too hard" to make them work. There is no website for referral on how to use the blue bag/plastic tips, and should be included.I visited YouTube and found various videos on how to use the Russian tips. I made rainbow cupcakes using one Russian and regular tip, five colors of buttercreme icing, and both designs were a hit at a birthday party. I look forward to learning how to use the various patterns. NOTE: the thickness of your buttercream icing also makes a HUGE difference on the outcome of your tip designs, so having a great (and delicious recipe) makes the piping process a fun time!

Strap in, this is going to be a long review.First - I love everything included with the purchase except 2 things. Number one, the pink handle is annoying being a male baker. My wife doesn't bake and everything I have has neutral colors (dumb nitpick I know, but try to find a nice set like this in a case at this price point that doesn't have feminine colors). Number two, the case itself is small, which is fine, or at least it would be if it was still just as easy to get everything back into it without being a professional packer. I was able to get everything back in by taking out the included bags.The tips - The smaller tips are wonderful for detail work and for small decorations. The included couplers make swapping tips a breeze and makes it quite fun to try things out. The larger piping tips that create flowers are great as well! I didn't get any pics of what I did with those but you can see what I did with the smaller ones in a couple of them. The entire unicorn was done with the small tips. They are all stainless steel and clean up quickly and easily. The large ones all come individually wrapped (see pic).The couplers - The small coupler fits every tip perfectly and makes swapping tips with the same bag very quick and easy. I only wish they would have included a few more with this set. One just really isn't enough especially when you are working with several different colors in several different bags. The large coupler works just as well. I didn't have a chance yet to try the tri-color one but I am excited to do so.The bags - Honestly, I already have bags that I am comfortable with and I haven't even opened the packages to them. I am sure the silicone one is great. I don't know about the plastic ones. My apologies.The tip reference guide - This is by far the best thing in this entire set. I love how I can have an idea in my head of what I am looking to accomplish and then be able to use the reference papers to match exactly to it. Being able to see what each tip gives you is the most convenient thing ever.The plastic carrying case - Like I said, it's a little small unless you are able to get everything back in exactly the way they ship it to you. Removing the included bags made getting everything back in much easier.Little pipe cleaner - Perfect for the tips. Cleaning is a breeze on them anyway and any parts that are hard to reach, the pipe cleaner takes care of. I love it.I made those unicorn cupcakes and the unicorn cookie all with those tips. I am not a professional baker, I'm a dad that bakes for his kids and his wife. They were a hit at my daughter's 6 year unicorn birthday party and without the tips I wouldn't have been able to get them to look anywhere near as well as they did.Don't lose the tip reference guides! That is the best!

First of all, I typically don’t give out reviews-but I always read the reviews from other Amazon customers before I buy a product. I wanted to let you know that this is a product that is worth the price! I received the Russian tip set from RFAQK after reading all of the stellar reviews. It came just as promised and the packaging of the tip set was exceptional! That is the first picture-the RFAQK one is the plastic case. I requested the copy of the e-book and the response from the company was immediate! It’s so rare these days to come across a company like that. The tips are numbered so that a beginner like myself could easily understand what the end result will be and the e-book manual is easy to understand with detailed pictures. You simply can’t go wrong. On a side note, I have friends who are gluten free. To buy a decent cupcake is expensive. I can’t wait to make beautiful gluten free cupcakes for them. It is kinda sad that great gluten free products are not cheap, and it takes time and effort to make it palatable and enjoyable. I’m excited to get started! I think I’ll be experimenting all weekend! I also took a picture of another set I had ordered that had high reviews on Amazon-I didn’t see RFAQK’s product until a couple of hours after I bought the ‘other’ set. I couldn’t stop the delivery as the product was being shipped. But I thought to myself-well- you now have 2 Russian tip sets coming...let’s see how they stack up to each other. This should be interesting.I will not reveal the other company’s name, but I think you can see the remarkable difference in the packaging, no real instructions nor a manual, nor are the tips numbered. The only reason I am hanging onto the “other” set is because they threw in 2 extra ball tips, a rose nail, and a nail scissors. I put both sets on the table and went thru them all to see if the tips matched. Each set had the same basic ones, but there were about 10 to 12 that were different to each other. In other words, I’m keeping both sets. But, that being said-if you are going for exceptional service, product, and a company that will help you if you need assistance-REAQK is the winner!!! Hands down! My wonderful husband-he ordered a small plastic case with a handle from Amazon to put the ‘other’ set in. I wish you all the best in your decorating journey!
