Inadequate packaging.
The mugs are beautiful. Packaging didn’t withstand the hurling of it up and over a five-barred gate.

So far very good, nice taste of cup of tea out of it. Pattern doesn't come of in wash etc, not cheaply painted on.

the whole point of buying this a a gift is that this expensive fine bone chine mug arrives in a pretty gift box. the mug is what you would expect from royal albert. faultless. the problem is with the bland standard issue cardboard box that is all you receive with this item. no fancy gift box (as per amazons item photos). just the mug in bubble wrap and thats it. truly and sincerely pathetic. well done amazon. you have ruined my birthday goft for an old and very sick friend. perhaps your AI systems dont quite extend to understand all human needs. not everything you sell can be delivered in bland non descript plain boxes. some item need more. where is the lovely gift box in your listing and description for this item. i have cancelled prine because of this. unforgiveable !!!!!!!

Delighted with this item HOWEVER although very well packed for safety, did not arrive gift boxed as stated when ordered. Too late to rectify this matter as this was a birthday gift which has now passed.
