Huawei P10 Plus (graphite black) unlocked

Very good phone and great value for the money.

Has since stopped working. No parts available locally.

This phone was announced in February 2017 and has ben around in UK for the last few weeks. Screen - This 2k screen is good and attractive. But this display is not in the league of Samsung/ new Goolge Pixel . The maximum brightness level is very good. Its flat screen like a traditional phone.The size of screen is 5.5 inches diagonally.Has a Corning Gorilla 5 glass to the front. Build Quality- Very good. In par with most good phones, but not quite in the league of S8 or iPhone S7. Non removable back. Has an Aluminium back and this is similar to IPhone 6.. Sound- Loud and clear. No issues, specially for a phone. Not as powerful as the dual speakers of say the Axon 7.But then its in par with the Samsung S7 series. Has a headphone jack, unlike IPhone 7. The bundled headphones do a fair job. Security features- Finger print sensor in front mounted on physical button as in IPhone 7, Galaxy S7. No iris scanner. Responsiveness- Very good, no lag at all. Have not had any issues so far with sluggishness or re-starts etc. However, some android phones get marginally slower after about 6 months of use. Added features- Micro SD slot is available to expand memory. But inbuilt 64GB storage is just adequate for photos etc, as well as some movies if you fancy.This phone is splash resistant. Cameras- Very good 20 MP + 12 MP, f/1.8, dual lens back camera. Very good photos in good daylight. Very good low light photos, and this is similar to Samsung Galaxy S7/S8 series.Has dual flash at the back as well. The front 8MP f/1.9 camera is good, but could have been better.Good for a quick selfie but nothing compared to the back camera. Guarantee- Huawei has 2 year manufacturer's warranty on the phone, and they are pretty good. But then it has to be bought through an authorised reseller. However, if it's fulfilled by Amazon, you would still have 1 year warranty from Amazon. Battery- Really good 3750 mAH battery. There is a quick charge function. But you may notice that all phones which have quick charge, are relatively faster at discharge too. You could easily make one day of use on this, if you are a casual user. Operating System- Runs Android 7.0 out of the box, and Huawei have tweaked the Emotion UI (EMUI) now, and it looks much better than when it originally did in the P8/P9 series. The OS is very much customizable. Similarities to Samsung S8/ LG G6- Both have USB C for charging and data transfer Both have Android 7.0 out of the box. Differences with Galaxy S8/LG G6- P10 plus is only splash resistant. LG G6 has an older Snapdragon 821 chipset, while S8 has latest 835 version. Huawei has Kirin 960 chipset. This does not have any noticeable lag, but if you want the latest and greatest, then you would need the S8. S8 has a super AMOLED display, while its a LCD display in LG G6. AMOLED displays have deeper blacks with better looking contrast. Price- The recommended retail price at present is £649, which is quite steep. But this is about £100 cheaper than all other modern phones like S8+, iPhone 7 plus but the same as the Sony Xperia XZ premium. Third parties are selling for lower prices than this. Should you buy this over S8+? This is a good phone, but the S8+ would have all newer internals and bigger, better screen which is very hard to ignore. Why 3 stars? Although this phone does a lot of things well, it does not have a "wow" factor to topple any of the giants. Although it is a bit cheaper than the well known phone models, the resale value is pretty abysmal, if you want to sell it one day. The phone does not feel much different from the P9 plus. When buying through third parties look at the following- Is it new or used? Are they locked/unlocked? Has it got a decent warranty? Do you get all original accessories with box?

I own this phone for 3rd year, I've been under a harsh rain, it felt down once (I have a corner of a front glass broken because of it) and it is brilliant in usage and still performs greatly! However, client service of Huawei (at least in Warsaw, Poland) is terrible - they didn't have a front glass to replace in shop and refused to order it for me, pushing me to refer to unofficial 'fixers'. Aside from this the p10 plus is just great

Encore un peu chers. (quand il passera la barre des 500€ il deviendra un très bon Flaship) La qualité de l'APN (Leica) est top ! Réactif et se recharge (Très) rapidement. grâce à l'USB type C) La surcouche IMEI de Xiaomi est pour moi une bonne chose et n’empiète pas sur la performance d'Android. Toutes fois, pour avoir déjà un Huawei (P 8) les mises à jours ne suivent malheureusement pas ! Peu être cela sera mieux sur ce P10+ ?

El Huawei p10 plus funciona de maravilla, va rapidísimo. El desbloqueo con huella dactilar es instantáneo. La música se escucha genial y cuando hablo con la opción de manos libres se escucha muy alto y claro y la persona que está al otro lado del teléfono dice que se me oye muy muy bien también. Los selfies con este móvil salen que no pareces ni tú misma, es impresionante! Y las fotos en general muy bonitas, aunque en condiciones de poca luz flaquea un poco, pero es algo normal en las fotografías con móvil. Hay mil cosas que puedes configurar antes de apretar el botón de disparo, pero aún sin toquetear mucho puedes obtener muy buenas fotos. El modo monocromo no me parece nada del otro mundo, pero aún tengo que probarlo un poco más. No trae radio, a pesar de que en la descripción se indica que sí pero incorpora infrarrojos que es algo que hoy en día muchos móviles están dejando de llevar. La pantalla se ve muy nítida y tiene una altísima resolución que en este tamaño creo que no se puede llegar a apreciar de verdad, pero si lo lleva pues se agradece. La batería dura más de 24 horas y eso que yo estoy todo el día toqueteando el móvil, eso sí, no tengo activado por defecto ni la ubicación, ni el Bluetooth y el brillo lo tengo más bien bajo cuando no estoy a la luz del sol, también desactivé la vibración de las teclas, no tanto por ahorrar energía como por lo molesto que me resultaba. Ah y tiene un modo de luz cálida para que no se canse tanto la vista, que es recomendable activar por la noche para que la luz azul que emite el móvil no altere los ritmos circadianos de sueño. En definitiva un móvil realmente recomendable, he pasado de un Sony Xperia Z5 a este Huawei P10 plus y estoy súper contenta con el cambio.

Scrivo questa recensione ad un mese dall'acquisto per valutarne le capacità e le caratteristiche. Premetto che sono nuova nel mondo Android, venendo da 5 anni di Windows phone e 7 anni di Nokia, è stato un cambiamento abbastanza radicale, partendo dalle cose più banali come la ricca presenza di app, finendo al sistema operativo completamente differente. È un buon telefono, veloce con 6 gb di RAM, la batteria ha una durata notevole, infatti posso utilizzarlo assiduamente una giornata intera ed avere ancora una piccola percentuale di carica, posso utilizzare molte app contemporaneamente ed il telefono non va in palla. Ho potuto sincronizzare il mio account one drive e non perdere quello che avevo sul vecchio cellulare, ho fatto il passaggio dei contatti tramite Bluetooth ed ho scaricato anche la mia vecchia suoneria, che quelle di base del cellulare non le gradisco molto. Non è ancora aggiornato ad Android Oreo, ma dovrebbe arrivare tra non molto, essendo uscita la beta. Utile il riconoscimento dell'impronta digitale, ottima fotocamera anche per quanto riguarda le app, ha una risoluzione a 20 mpx in 4:3, altrimenti in 16:9 ne perde un po', ha una cassa in basso a destra che produce un suono molto buono. Unica pecca che ho notato è che a volte si riavvia da solo e devo reinserire pin della scheda e pin del telefono, ma devo ancora capire il perché. Dalla confezione esce una cover di plastica trasparente rigida (ma ho preferito utilizzare quella in silicone che avevo ordinato) e lo schermo ha già applicato una pellicola. In generale, come qualità prezzo e come caratteristiche e concorrenza, è un telefono per il quale vale la pena spendere qualcosina di soldi. P. S. A quanto pare, il telefono ogni 3 giorni si riavvia per questione di sicurezza se non è mai stato spento.

J'ai toujours aimé Huawei par son design : simple, discret ( pas de borderless ...) mais qui envoie du lourd ( performance à la hauteur S8, HTC, LG, + One ... ) . Leica Leica Leica ... Seulement POURQUOI L’EMPREINT DIGITAL DEVANT ? Bon j'ai mis 5 étoiles.
