Review: Made a difference - Surprisingly very good helped my Grandson to write much better Review: Great pencil 8/10, lost points for shapener erganomics and lead count included in box. - Great pencil option for both kids learning to write and for adults who have lost dexterity. I used one as a kid and it improved my legability greatly and now my gran has them to allow for her to write with less discomfort due to Artheritus in her hands. I can say that these are very robustly made. Whilst we needed to replace the pencil in full due to me losing it as a child, the pen, which was purchased in 2007, is not only still working but barely looks like it's been used so fingers crossed for another 20 years of service on it. So good value for money no question there. I will say that the sharpener could be better as it is not designed for small hands or with dexterity issues in mind, but you can sharpen the lead with a normal sharpener, just make sure to click the lead a little extra out so you dont shave down the housing of the product. Additionally, most modern electric sharpeners will sharpen just the leads due to pure lead pencils becoming a thing. 8/10 from me would recommend, it would be a 10/10 if it improved the following- 1 more ergonomic sharpener or taking a leaf from the Japanese with turning lead as this thick one would greatly benefit from less sharpening being required. 2- provide more than one lead with the pencil and provide the option of limited colours even if its just Red, Blue and Green. Worther 3.15mm shorty leads appear to be the best option i have found so far as a possible option but they are not cheap and may require some extra work to make them fit but if they do i will try to remember to update my review to reflect this. ## Features - Warning:Not suitable for children under 3 years. For use under adult supervision - The retractable graphite pencil with its cushioned tip and non-slip ergonomic grip zone encourages children to hold the pencil with the recommended tripod grip. - Get the innovative, ergonomic design specially developed for children who are just starting to write. - The STABILO EASYergo 3.15 is recommended by teachers, occupational therapists and special needs experts. Also approved by the National Handwriting Association. - The pencil comes with an ergonomic sharpener. - The refillable, extra thick HB leads are sturdy and break-resistant. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00T7UM1ME | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Age range (description) | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | 1,510 in Stationery & Office Supplies ( See Top 100 in Stationery & Office Supplies ) 7 in Mechanical Pencils | | Body Shape | Cylindrical | | Brand | STABILO | | Brand Name | STABILO | | Closure Type | Retractable | | Colour | Light Blue/Dark Blue | | Country Of Origin | Germany | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 4,556 Reviews | | Drill Point | ball tip | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04006381468732 | | Grip Type | ergonomic grip | | Hardness | HB | | Included Components | Sharpener | | Ink Base | Water | | Ink Colour | Blue | | Ink colour | Blue | | Is the Product Left or Right Handed? | Right | | Item Diameter | 3.15 Millimetres | | Item Dimensions | 9 x 1.6 x 19.5 centimetres | | Item Weight | 20 Grams | | Line Size | 3.15 mm | | Manufacturer | STABILO | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | STABILO EASYergo 3.15 | | Model Number | B-46873-5 | | Pattern | Pencil | | Recommended Uses For Product | Colouring, Drafting, Drawing, Sketching, Writing | | Special Features | Eco Friendly, Ergonomic, Lightweight, Non Toxic, Soft Grip | | Style | Right-Handed | | Theme | Writing | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Writing Instrument Form | Colored Pencil | | Writing Technique | pencil lead | | Writing instrument form | Colored Pencil | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Kid - **Brand:** STABILO - **Colour:** Light Blue/Dark Blue - **Ink colour:** Blue - **Material:** Plastic - **Model name:** STABILO EASYergo 3.15 - **Point type:** ball tip - **Special feature:** Eco Friendly, Ergonomic, Lightweight, Non Toxic, Soft Grip - **Unit count:** 1.0 count - **Writing instrument form:** Colored Pencil ## Images ![EASYergo 3.15 - Ergonomic Mechanical Pencil - Right-Handed - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71inL9o3o3L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made a difference *by B***N on 23 August 2026* Surprisingly very good helped my Grandson to write much better ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pencil 8/10, lost points for shapener erganomics and lead count included in box. *by V***A on 26 June 2026* Great pencil option for both kids learning to write and for adults who have lost dexterity.
