DR Strings NGB-45 HI-DEF NEON™ - GREEN coloured Bass Strings: Medium 45-105

DR make very good quality strings.These neon green strings look and sound fantastic.Nice booming bass response and quite clear and articulate sounding.The coloured coating will show wear over time, especially around were telling string meets the fret.

I'm not great for changing strings regularly. I do play quite heavy handed and occasionally with a pick. I would estimate I have done around 25 gigs + rehearsals, so around 100 hours. Some say the strings are harsh on your fingers, some say the tone is slightly dull, I say they're probably the best strings I've played! The coating started to come off of them around 6 months ago, but only where I was picking and was only really noticable very close up (about a 10mm long patch) and the original set would still be on there if I hadn't broken a string mid song at the last gig! If you want a bit of bling for your axe these are the strings for you!

I use these all the time, they're different and at least I get noticed, bass players usually don't, nothing wrong with them, totally different from other coated strings, not smooth like Elixers, last ages so not that expensive, but the main reason for using them is the colour

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE A BASS !!!These are super. Very very green my bass is now monster bass, only issue is It looks too good, other people get too jealous over them cause how sweet they are, when I put them on the bass I must admit I transcended to heaven for a second because the feeling of joy when I saw them took over. I think these are such a cool item to buy unless you don't play bass or don't have one. I will say you should be careful for example don't use metal pick (if you do anyway grow up) on them as it will damage the coating.These are a great buy if you think you need to get your bass too look unique or to feel personal or to make a theme like I have done.

Lets be honest here.... if you buy these strings it's because you want to be noticed - admit it! I was having fretbuzz problems with my previous set of Rotosound .40's so I got a set of these. The effect was immediate and amazing. No only do they look cool as, they feel and sound great. I have had them on for 3 gigs and the recording of an EP and so far they are still sounding good. Not only that but people were coming up to the stage to take photos of my strings that lit the club up! Awesome!Yes, they are a fair bit more expensive than other brands but I have no complaints and will definately use them again.

Tienen un sonido genial, sin ningún problema por el envió aun que fue por AMZMX (por fin de semana).Si tienes la oportunidad comprarlas cuando estén de oferta las e visto hasta en $500 aun así con el precio que tienen valen la pena, te dará gusto por cada día tu bajo! se nota la buena calidad como en el cuerpo de las cuerdas y el el color!

These are absolutely wicked. They look super bright in day time and gives a funky look. Contrasts well with my blue bass. Under UV light shines quite crazy. And it feels great too a very smooth feel to play with and sounds great too. Nothing extraordinary but has a nice warm tone. Whether the colour fades with time will have to wait and see. 1 month in no issues at all . Have made a YouTube video 'Iron Man - Black Sabbath bass cover (with DR neon strings)' with these strings of u wanna see and hear that they sound like. Great buy overall
