KONG - Dog Training Dummy - Floats for Water Fetch Play and Training - For Large Dogs

Amazing product, do not worry about a hole in the bottom, I realise others have noted this too but it still floats it has clearly been designed for a reason that way. I bought the large for my lab and it a perfect size for her mouth, she has bad joints and I want to have her swimming more than running to get out her energy and this certainly did the job she loved it. I had to re tie the rope in a different way but only to my it shorter for my personal preference to throw. All in all great product at a great price, will buy again in future if needed.

This is great, nice and light and it floats really well - it’s pretty high out of the water so my dog can see where it is more easily as he swims out to it. Being a Kong item it’s really robust and can stand quite a bit of chewing - I’m expecting this to give years of use

Nice bright colour stands out, she’s half and half over interest in it, we bought it for the beach but she wasn’t interested in playing fetch with it, back to the ball. Gets blown around quite easily too because of the weight.

Our dog absolutely loves this toy. It’s easy to throw and then very easy to take off the dog. We bought the one for large dogs and the size is just about right for our pointer. Her teeth left a few marks on the toy and I feel like she might be able to destroy it if we left her to chew on it for longer. So as long as you remember to take it away from your dog after a playing session it should last quite a long time.

Excellent floating retrieve toy. This would not be suitable for a dog that chews their toys . My dogs are trained to fetch to hand and absolutely love it, the swimming is great exercise .

My cocker spaniel loves his Kong dummy, so much so we've purchased it 6 times in his lifetime! Not because it breaks but because we've either lost it or accidently thrown it over a wall to the ether unknown. Very durable, has endured the sea, ponds, mud, sand. We only give it to him during walks however or he would chew up if left with it. Would highly recommend.

Good idea and product but sadly the string came off on its first trip out! I tried putting it back on and but it wouldn’t stay and quickly came off again/got lost which then makes it just like any other dog toy. I’d wanted this one for the string to chuck/lob it with in hope it wouldn’t get as slimy as normal dog toys so without the string there’s not much benefit to it!

I have bought a couple of these for my water loving Labradors. They are a light foam-type toy (similar material to a swimming float) with a cord that allows you to launch it quite far into water without much effort. Due to it being bright orange, it is very visible in the water and it's size, shape and light weight make it easy for my dog to retrieve. A warning though; the top end where the cord attaches can rip if your dog decides to play tug a bit too eagerly!! (However, I've managed to easily stick it back together on a couple of occasions.) I would not recommend that you leave your dog just to play with this, especially if they are a destroyer like mine but they are fantastic for water retrieval play.
