Q: Up to what temperatures are these bowls oven safe? Can I place them under the broiler?

Bowls are not oven safe. And I would not use under broiler. These are stoneware, not bakeware.

Q: Do,these dishes leave silverware marks? I’d like to,get the white but am concerned about the scratches from silverware

We have had the grey for six months and don’t have any scratch marks at all.

Q: The weight states 6.85 lbs for 4 x 34 ounce bowls, is the weight correct or does this include the shipping box?

Each bowl is 1.5 lbs. So the package is 6 lbs just for the bowls.

Q: Is the edge on the grey bowls black?

No, they are the same color as the bowls
