A good, practical and durable camera bag.
In life certain brands speak and sell themselves, Lowe pro is one such brand; every lowepro bag I've ever owned be it brand new or second hand has been practical, well made, durable and above all has fitted my cameras like a glove, this 50aw is no different. I bought it a day after getting the badly designed amazon basics, which was suitably slated, its now on eBay, this lowepro arrived very quickly ( unlike the amazon bag), and was immediately put to use. Since doing the amazon basics review I'd upgraded my camera from an A37 to an A68, a huge difference especially in size, despite looking exactly the same size as the lowepro, I could not get the A37 and Sony 55-300 lens in the case despite being overly bulky internally, not only can the lowepro accommodate the A68 and 55-300 but also the bigger bulkier comfort strap I've fitted to the A68, and there is still a little bit of space left. Yes lowepro are not on the cheap side, but they hold there value, will last as long if not longer than the camera inside, mine comes with a rain cover, the amazon doesn't, and u!ultimately the 50aw performs its core purpose ( holding & protecting your camera) brilliantly. Do shop around though, and yes I would even recomend a second hand 50aw over the brand new cheap and cheerful bags available.

Good sized camera bag
Good sized camera bag for my Nikon D750 with Nikon 24-120mm lens. This is a good quality bag, it comes with a shoulder strap, a grab handle on the back and it has mounting points at the four corners on the back for a harness. I tend to use a normal backpack and have the camera bag inside this as an extra layer of protection so shoulder straps and harness points are pretty irrelevant. It has a zip around the top for easy access and a decent sized zip pocket on the front with enough space for a filters, spare battery and memory cards, inside the top there's also a zip pocket which would hold memory cards too. If you have a smaller camera then there's a removable / adjustable "shelf" inside. The rain cover folds neatly away into a pocket at the bottom rear of the case and folds over the bottom and up the front gripping over the top. My camera fits in no problem with a Black Rapid wrist strap attached and there's space left at the end so a larger lens than my 24-120 would fit in. I've been using a smaller Lowepro TLZ Rezo 120 for about 8 years with my Nikon D80 and then D7000 but the D750 is too big for that and I needed a new case so went with a brand I knew and am happy with it.

A good bag for its intended purpose.
I never expected to give a Lowepro bag less than 5 stars. Firstly, the Toploader Zoom 50 is perfect for the reason I bought it; to fit in my carry on luggage with the rest of my stuff for a 5 day trip where a certain budget airline is charging a fortune for hold luggage. So, this bag is the reason I'll have enough clothes to wear while I'm away. Secondly, the bag itself, the bit where the camera goes, is generally good Lowepro quality and holds my full frame DSLR and 24-120mm f4 lens well. I feel satisfied that it's well protected. Why I've dropped a star. The main zip, or zips, on the top feel cheap. I struggle to open the top by just unzipping with one hand. I find I need to hold the top of the bag tight with one hand in order to open it with the other. This may be down to the top opening design of the bag, but still, it's a little awkward and slows down the whole process of getting the camera out. The front pocket lacks any kind of padding. This is fine for me as I pad it out with a substantial lens cloth. Still, it would have been nice to have a little padding. The zip here also feels cheap. The strap is cheap and nasty, in my opinion. This is fine for saving on space, if like me you need to put this inside another bag and have very limited space, but I can see myself looking for a better strap in the future. Apart from these few negatives, this is still a very handy bag if you just want to take one camera and lens with you.

Nice size for medium size DSLR and a couple of lenses
Very nicely made. Good for a medium DSLR with a couple of lenses (in my case I have a Nikon D7100, and a prime 35mm, plus 55-200mm mounted on the camera). There is space in the pocket for some spare batteries, filters, etc. Unless you have a pancake lens, don't expect to fit lenses into the pocket as it is quite shallow. Also don't expect this to take your waterbottle or lunch as well. It is a comfortable bag to wear. Doesn't seem to get in the way too much. The pull out raincover is a comfort, since I know I can keep my gear safe. I have a Lowepro rucksack with a similar raincover, and I've given it a decent testing on Dartmoor, so I know what to expect. This is more expensive that some of the other bags on offer. Once you get it, the quality is evident. If you can, spend a bit more and get this. BTW when I registered it Lowepro sent me a free bottle opener that clips onto the strap. Quite neat, but hardly a deal breaker :-)

Ideal, quality camera bag for DSLRs and larger bridge cameras + good price
Bought the Zoom 50 AW 11 for my Nikon P950 bridge camera and it replaces my old Zoom 45 AW bag. The 50 AW 11 does the same excellent job as the smaller 45 AW. The comfort and length of the supplied shoulder strap is ideal for slinging the bag across the body. It can be used on a waist belt for climbing activities and is ultra light without compromising padding protection for your camera. The internal divider is handy for small items but the outer zipped pocket is large enough for a mobile phone, lense hood or spare batteries. The hidden waterproof cover is quick and easy to deploy and protects the bag and contents from most weather conditions including dusty environments. Not expensive, which is an added bonus !

The bag was just the right size for a Nikon Coolpix P900. Easy fit for camera and charger and 2 spare batteries. Sadly I have had to return the bag as the zip tabs broke within 2 days of getting the bag. Poor quality brittle plastic zips. Shame as Lowepro are usually sturdy and good quality. My DSL is housed in a Lowepro bag and I have had no problems with that one.

Cette pochette me plait vraiment, elle va me suivre partout !

The only down side, very limited place to put accessories. My Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 attach to my Nikon fits perfectly well!
